It was a first time visit with business relations from overseas , at Gabriel . Friendly reception and good space for seating . Innovative card in content and reception but did not understand why the waiter has to mention price of the special in front of everyone . Why in israel even in upscale restaurant the price or even the... More

if you want a place to spend a lovely evening with great food and a wonderful ambiance, Gabriel is the place. We had a great bottle of wine that was served with a delicious, warm, fluffy pita bread with great dips. The "warm mushroom and wine poached pear salad" was to die for and the main dish was chateaubriand served... More

Food was delicious and plentiful . Dinner was served beautifully by an attentive waitress. We had chicken and beef dishes. All were attractively plated and served hot.

This wonderful restaurant had one of the best meals I had in Jerusalem, and I have been many times and eaten in many, many restaurants. The atmosphere of the restaurant is elegant, quiet, and comfortable-stone walls, tables on 2 levels, table cloths, nice dishes. This is perfect if you want to talk whether in a small or larger group. The... More

We have visited this stylish kosher meat restaurant at least once during each trip to Israel. The ambience is pleasant with authentic stone walls, and the food is excellent. The steaks are grilled as requested, the fries are hot and crisp, and the foccacia bread and dips that start the meal are delicious. There is a full bar as well... More

Gabriel has one of the best business lunch packages I have experienced in Jerusalem. Your lunch begins with hot fresh focaccia bread drizzled with olive oil and topped with rosemary and 3 dips...a cup of soup of the day (today was tomato/eggplant) and a lovely crisp, fresh salad that was accented with micro-greens. The vinaigrette on the salad was light,... More

This should be one of the premier restaurants in Jerusalem and has been in the past. There is a lovely and elegant atmosphere with very good service, but the quality of the food and its preparation was not up to its usual standard. I was disappointed.

Ate here one night on the recommendation of the concierge at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel and I was not disappointed. The chef is magnificent and his offerings a culinary delight. The wait staff was superb and I highly recommend this restaurant to any visitor to Jerusalem.
