Visited with and was recommended by our family friend. We were not let down. Gooiest sweetest Rugelach we ever had. High recommend for any thing this store sells.

I absolutely loved this while visiting Jerusalem. Now my problem is I can't find any I like in the United States.
This bakery is the one to try to beat--but don't expect to. It is always very busy selling delicious baked goods.
Obviously there are those who adore the mass produced sickly goo that passes for an Israeli rogelach, but it is not out of place to say a. this is a horrible version of a once honorable East European small cake; b. oozing margarine and sugar...confection can be attractive to some but at a certain point, standards have to kick in and say enough is enough. And yes, chocolate flavour may be the populist choice but a rogellach it ain’t… maybe a cinnamon or something like that.More
We have eaten by Japan products in the past and they were absolutely delicious. We were so looking forward do a visit there to get some of the scrumptious Bakery Goods. They were very busy when we arrived and we're extremely rude when we ask...them questions about products. They also did not give us correct information about a cake that we bought. We ask them if it was Dairy and they replied with a snide remark and shook their head. As much as we'd look forward to visiting the store we will now never go back there because of how nasty the staff was. We found several other bakeries in the area that we will now visit moving forward.More
This is by and and away the best rugelach in the world!! The cinnamon pinwheels were a delicious added for us. Been going here for so many years and it never fails to disappoint!!! Best baked goods in Jerusalem!!
I came here specifically for the rugelach, and was incredibly happy that I made a point of doing so. They have rugelach in different flavors - I like the chocolate and the cinnamon the best: they're moist and tender and make your mouth feel loved....They do also carry other products (such as the eponymous marzipan, which I also loved) .More
If you like rugaluch, don't miss this spot. They are served warm and fresh and melt in your mouth. The same rugaluch are served elsewhere in the Mahane Yehuda Shuk, but only this bakery finishes them with a sugar syrup wash that elevates these treats...above all others.More
Excellent baked goods and pastries with assorted styles We loved the hot rugelach in a bath of chocolate Highly recommend this stop
Their chocolate rugelach are the very best - moist, and baked with lots of excellent chocolate. We buy them for ourselves and to bring back to the states.
The best rogalach in the world!!!! Both the chocolate and the cinnamon are to die for. They are also parve. And, they freeze very well.
Was this place a revelation? Eh. But the parve rugelach and other goodies are certainly above the average for Jerusalem. We liked almost everything we had here; of special note was the apple + cherry 'rose cake' (really, cinnamon rolls filled with fruit instead of...cinnamon)--sticky and delicious--and actually the less-mentioned savoury pastries, including the little feta/Bulgarian cheese pastries and the tiny 'pizzas'. The spinach pastries were a surprising flop, with the spinach being overly bitter and soggy (this is usually my fave elsewhere). We got challah elsewhere, but the bread was quite good as well. The prices, however, are fairly steep, and the service is dismissive at best, taking the rating down a little. And if you grew up on kosher bakeries from the Tri-State area, you're not going to be blown away by these. But if you're in Jerusalem, definitely worth a stop in.More
so , we didnt find any marzipan in marzipan- just an awesome purely heavenly hot chocolate dripping rogelach - it is a machne yuda institute for years and definitely worth a visit!
Bakery with every day fresh bread and pastry - people very helpful and very good price. Choose the rogelles, it is with chocolate and it is not too sweet they also have pastry with halva that are very very good.
I go to Israel 1-3 times per year and always, yes always stop at Marzipan for the chocolate rugelach, It adds a nice touch to a Shabbat dinner.
