This is very popular restaurant and it is packed. However, our experience was disappointing this time around. The tables are cheek to cheek in the open air and very bare plaza. The other three restaurants in the same plaza are also packed. I guess that...says something. Service was attentive and very good by Jerusalem standards, but the pasta was below average. I ordered the Penne Forte and it was neither penne (some other short pasta was substituted) nor forte. The salmon bits (plenty of those, can't complain about quantity, but they tasted as if they were boiled) and the creamy sauce was not the least bit tasty.More

You don't go to Piccolino just for the food, albeit that it's good. Think Mediterranean with an Israeli twist. It certainly worked for me. But what really sells this place is that it's set in a beautiful square (with restaurants on all sides) where they...play live music. It's calm, unrushed (unusually for Jersusalem) with good service. It feels that bit more special than the more usual options. Certainly I found it hard to leave, so we stayed awhile as they moved from a 'chilled' set into a modern jazz set and it was lovely to just watch the other diners enjoy themselves in this cool little enclave. I really hope to be back another time.More

So-so food, high prices, terrible service. Dinner was a three-hour ordeal. On the plus side, there's plenty of outdoor seating.

We thought this was the best meal in town. The seared tuna salad was delish and is big enough to share. The desserts and outdoor seating were amazing. Service can be leisurely. Don’t miss this place when visiting.

My wife and I had a delightful late lunch/early dinner at Piccolino today. Very pleasant eating outside in Music Square. Excellent food-- we shared a focaccia accompanied by 3 spreads (the best bread we have eaten in a while); eggplant parmesan--absolutely delicious & Piccolino salad,...a very large and tasty portion The service was great. We do not for a moment hesitate to highly recommend this restaurant.More

The food was fabulous and plentiful. We had artichoke ravioli (yummy!), seared tuna salad, rice balls (delish!), and an assortment of desserts. Everything was fresh and delicious. I was very impressed with the energetic service. Plenty of staff, eager to help. LOVE the atmosphere in...the outside courtyard. We've been to Bnai Mitzvah parties here and they're great too. Highly recommend for a wonderful dairy meal.More

Three of us dined last night and had a good meal. Outdoor area was very crowded but staff kept everything moving along. Music is playing by live musicians and the patrons seemed to enjoy the talent. Not a spot t linger as they have many...people waiting.More

Let's start with the good stuff. The pastas were terrific. The beet gnocchi was especially delicious, and quite unique. The prices are reasonable. We weren't wowed by the salad, which was often the star at other Israeli restaurants. What we didn't like was the atmosphere....We had booked the outdoor patio based on the reviews of the music square and photos of a beautiful, candlelit space. No. It was a bit cool out, so while the band played outside to an empty square, we were made to sit inside in a plain glass-enclosed "patio" as brightly lit as an operating room. I'm sure it would have been different on a warmer night, but the sterile feeling that night left us cold--pun intended.More

My favorite dairy/חלבי restaurant in Jerusalem! The food is exceptional… my personal favorites are the arancini, chestnut cappellacio, mushroom ravioli, and truffle/smoked salmon pizza… but the entire menu is absolutely delicious! I had to come 2 nights in a row to make sure I got...my Piccolino “fix” because they are (understandably) closed on Pesach. And if the amazing food wasn’t enough, the atmosphere outside is incredible, the staff is attentive and friendly, and of course the music is great. I can’t wait for my next visit to Jerusalem so that I can go to Piccolino for dinner (more than once!).More

Whenever I go to Picclino I am guaranteed to have delicious food, andfriendly service in the best location in town., True to form I had lunch a week ago sitting under a blue Jerusalem sky in the wonderful Kikar Ha Musika.. After an enjoyable dining...eperience sisters Anat and Orit came over with a complimantary dessert and told us how their Mother Navah had imbued thm with the traditon of hospitlaity in which every guest becomes a member of their family! From Strength to Strength! They have come though covid and the lack to tourists and never lost their smiles or desire to be the best they can be! A huge selection of vegetarian and pescatarian options. The beetroot gnocchi and onion soup deserve a mention but everything was delicious. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was ambient with live music.
