We were quickly greeted by a welcoming hostess. the staff arrived quickly and gave suggestions. The food was not only presented in an attractive manner, it was so different and interesting. Did I mention delicious? The portions were generous and the desserts divine.
Our whole family enjoyed our dinner here. We were seated promptly when we arrived though we had no reservation. Delicious food and nice musical accompaniment made for one of our best outings during our visit to Jerusalem. We highly recommend this restaurant.
We never miss a chance to dine at Piccolino! The atmosphere is charming, the music wonderful and the waitstaff outstanding. The owners are always friendly and welcoming! And then there’s the food! We have never been disappointed in any dish we have ordered. The onion...soup in its luscious bread bowl was the perfect start to the evening! My husband’s fish if the day was prepared perfectly, he ate every bite! My artichoke ravioli was so divine I am still dreaming about it! There are wonderful private rooms for private events and an area of the patio has been enclosed and well heated for “outdoor” dining all year long! Save room for dessert because you will be sorry if you don’t!More
Despite the restaurant not having our reservation for our group of 14, the long wait to be seated (staff seemed almost annoyed we’d arrived in such a large group), and the long wait for menus (about 20 minutes), drinks and even our food (we were...finally seated at 7.30pm and eventually served food at 8.30pm), this place deserves 4 stars.
The food is fantastic (I had Jerusalem artichoke for the first time, which I thoroughly enjoyed and which left me VERY full afterward!) and the atmosphere (despite the seemingly rude staff — though it could have simply been because they were so busy and rushed off their feet) similarly so. Everyone in our group was very impressed with their meals, though not everyone could finish theirs (very filling!).
We were seated outside near some other large groups, in an enclosed space, all seated on plastic chairs under heat lamps. Live music began from just after 8pm, which we thoroughly enjoyed!More
