We had breakfast here (Shakshuka and masubaha) which was quite good. Especially the shakshuka was super tasty, the eggs cooked just right and there was peppers and aubergine it it. tasty! The shakshuka is served with a juice or turkish coffee, which is nice. It would be even better, if the juice was freshly pressed! The best thing was the... More

Restaurant is located in the center of the market. We ordered a number of dishes that were all rather bland and forgettable. Grilled eggplant was not cooked properly and was full of water. Taboule salad was not seasoned with oil or lemon.. Synia meat was just fine. Service slow and not very friendly.. I really don't understand how this restaurant... More

Decided to visit for lunch after exploring the market. We had eggplant with pine nuts and baked rice with meat and chickpeas. Delicious!

A must visit. Everything is delicate and delicious. Sit on the balcony to enjoy the market's sounds and atmosphere.

Prior to doing our supermarket shopping, we decide to eat lunch first and came across with this place. What can I say. My family felt very welcomed here by their staff. Good indication we went to the right place. Their eggplant with humus, the Lebanese pizza, the spicy rice , etc. These are the ones we remembered along with their... More

The owner suggested several dishes for our party of 5. She was so friendly and did not steer us wrong. We enjoyed the different dishes. The restaurant is on the same street with the fresh market. Perfect place to see locals buy fresh food and flowers. Easy to walk to from the train. Only about a block or two. Strongly... More

Perfect spot to do some serious people-watching in the Machane Yehuda market. Food was great, but it's Sophie, the French owner, who makes the place so special with her wicked sense of humor. Sophie, on a dit à Céline de passer vous voir ;-) You won't regret your meal, that's for sure.

Must try the eggplant with pine nuts. Delectable. The owner is also delightful. We will return. We also loved the rice with veggies in it. Highly recommend!!

An oasis in the middle of the chaotic (esp. at Friday lunch!) market. Wonderful Lebanese food, with an exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and helpful staff. Recommended.
