Raw fun in Jerusalem!

This place blew us away! We walked in and sat down at the bar, which surrounded the cooking area where all the meals are prepared. We had the Ted Bundy cocktail, which was lively and spicy. We followed with the mushroom polenta, corned beef (a delightful deconstructed Reuben), and sea bass, served piping hot off the grill. Dessert was a decadent white and dark chocolate cake, topped off with a shot shared by us and the hostess. The atmosphere was electric and thumping - just raw human fun! The chefs sang and danced as they worked. Would go back in a heartbeat - worth every penny.

Exceptional food!

A excellent vibe with great music blasting. It’s hard to hear if you’re there for conversation but we managed just fine. The service was very friendly but they are understaffed. However I would come back to Yudale over and over to have the Lamb Rib dish. I think it is one of the top 5 things I have ever eaten in my life. The calamari, carpaccio and pasta with lemon artichokes were also outstanding. Cocktails were also very good! An excellent stop in Jerusalem.

Outstanding food, atmosphere, and amazing service, super friendly, super helpful with food and wine choices. It felt like they were all really enjoying themselves and inviting us in. Recommended 100%!!

Wasted evening in Jerusalem…

I’ve really enjoyed this restaurant in the past. Tonight, I went with a friend in solidarity to support the business, but to be very honest, it felt like someone else had taken over the restaurant. The music was so loud you couldn’t talk over it or hear what was being spoken to you. I love music, but this was as loud as a club, and it was only 7 PM. Every time we asked them to turn it down, they said OK but then turned it back up right in front of us. It was obnoxious! The food was not like it used to be, with a completely different menu, and it was extremely salty and just not good. This was a very disappointing experience, and I walked away wishing I had spent my money somewhere it may have been appreciated. That’s why I’m writing this review. Yudale, you need to manage your obnoxious employees because they clearly don’t care about your customers.

Is a bar, not a restaurant

Good food small portions. Bad service. We made reservations 2 weeks before and we had to wait outside 30 min, no courtesy drinks, nothing. The music was so loud that we couldn’t have a conversation. Is more a bar than a restaurant.

Fun and Great Food

We ate dinner at the bar and the food was excellent. We had a great salad, the special fish (real good), the steak, and the chocolate dessert. The atmosphere was fun and lively.

Very underwhelming

The service was poor and unprofessional. They forgot one of the orders. When we cancelled they didn’t really apologize. Instead, they just gave us a desert we didn’t ask for and didn’t really want. Strangely, when we asked for the check, it arrived immediately. The experience was very underwhelming.

Really nice service and amazing food. It is the best restaurant we went to in Jerusalem. We especially recommend the vitalo tonnato and the polenta.

Why "yes": 1. The standards and the food of Machneyuda, simply excellent 2. Cool bar with absolutely great service 3. No need to make reservations in order to eat Assaf Granit food Why "not": 1. Very expensive, same prices of Machne 2. Not enough variety for vegetarian 3. Deserts should be improved Bottom line: an excellent night out experience with tasty dishes, recommended

Finally! Truly innovative gourmet food

We couldn't get in across the street but were thrilled by this trendy packed spot with the best meal we had in Jerusalem. The open kitchen makes it entertaining. The portions weren't huge, but so flavorful they were satisfying. Great spot!

Such a Fun Night

My 5 friends and I arrived on a Thursday night to celebrate a little mini vacation away from Tel Aviv We knew were going to be sat on the window and were a little worried becuase of the weather, but when we arrived we realized that it was nice and warm on both sides on the window. We were immediately greeted with chasers and quickly got our drink order in as well. All night long the drinks were flowing and we were dancing with other tables as well as the staff. All of this was really fun and the quality of the food only added to it. Dont leave without having tried the Maroccan Brioche and the polenta, if it;'s on the menu since they change it every night (although those are usually staples) we also had the weiner schnitzel with was delicious and the steak with the most delicious potatoes ive ever had. Seriously, they looked plaine but were anything but. The only bummer was that the music was drastically lowered at 11PM becuase on the neighbors. which is understandable, but still, we would have loved to stay there all night and continue the party It's not cheap, but is well worth it for a fun celebration. I would absoluetly recommend making reservations well in advance, this place is awesome.

Funky Bar/Restaurant, Fantastic Food

We were unable to get a reservation at Machaneyuda, but Yudale is a small restaurant across the street owned by the same restauranteurs and has the same menu. Although we sat 'bar style', we sat across from each other and were able to have great conversation and share dishes. We had just about all the dishes on the menu, and they were all excellent! The Polenta looks small, but it is very filling; the KanaFeh was yummy. Kornbeef, Schnitzel and Beef fillet were excellent. Desserts are a MUST! The tahini ice cream with crushed cookies is yummeee, and if you love guava, the Blond Guava and Cheese Mousse is heaven! One of our party had a birthday, and the staff passed out Arak shooters and toasted with us!

Spectacularly Vibrant Great Tapas

We had the best time at this amazingly energetic tapas restaurant. The staff is young, friendly and on top of everything. Crowded, noisy and loud music actually work to make this hotspot even more fun. After dinner it’s a 5 minute walk to the marketplace for coffee and dessert 🍮
