Our vacation was greatly enhanced by having Nocturnal right downstairs. We enjoyed the delicious food, shopped in the boutiques and went to a concert in the music venue downstairs. Thank you so much for making our stay extra special and treating us like family.

Tasty Israeli breakfast

Great cafe for dining all day long. Today, I had the Israeli breakfast which included two eggs over easy, salad, bread and spreads, and I had a side of smoked salmon. All was very good to great. Very good service.

Great place!!! “Souper” carrot soup!

Good service. Excellent salads! Most unusual and tasty carrot soup - was “souper!” Chocolate fudge cake - ask for it to be served cold. Fantastic!!!!!!! But, it cancels out the benefit of all the healthy food they serve ! You only live once!!!!!

Was extremely disappointed in the service

I was very disappointed with this restaurant and shall not return. Service was dreadful with staff quite unhelpful and unfriendly, apart from the girl with the beret who was very nice. I am a fussy eater and asked for a tiny taste of the soup before ordering and was told it was not possible. This has never been done for me, i wanted a teaspoon taste, but no. Seen as the numbers of corona are on the up, the tables were extremely close to each other and the staff preferred to have their masks on their chins.

Hi Debbie, Tnx, for taking the time to review us, even if its not the review we hopped for :-) Please allow us to explain, first about the soup, unlike a soup place, where it is common to try the soups, or an ice-cream place, where you can try the flavours, we make and warm every single dish. It's similar to tasting other dishes from the restaurant menu, or trying a drink before you order it. You haven't referred at all, to the quality of the food, the uniqueness of the place, the live shows, the design floor and many other quality's we believe we have. But most importantly, about Covid numbers rising up, we take it very Siriusly , we keep a green pass strong supervision, and above all, masks are mandatory at all times, to all workers, and we are sure, what you've witnessed, was maybe one of the workers drinkin, or mask replacement. We invite you, at anytime, for a good and correcting experience.

The worst restaurant I have ever misfortune to eat at, First day was ok however downhill from then. Staff were rude and did not listen, To no wheat foods Staff lied and kept us waiting for over an hour and kept lying as to when the food would arrive. Unhelpful, Rude and the food was disgusting, Never ever again would I or my friend go there. I do not recommend this place to anyone, One word for them is vile idiots

Dear Davidm, your review shocked us, we are not familiar of any case like you describe. The staff is well trained to answer any customer questions, about any subject, including gluten free dishes, and are doing so, politely and calmly for 27 years. The kitchen in Nocturno, is a boutique vegetarian/vegan kitchen, and everything is made fresh. We really don't know what happened in your case, our integrity, high level service, and tasty food, is our top priority, which reflects on our top review's. By the way, we would never call our customers, vile idiots, like you refered us, and it's out of line. We wish you all the best! good service, good food, less anger, and great vibes. Happy new year.

Disappointing and disgusting

The food was completely saltless and served sparingly relative to the price. In addition to that we ordered two breakfasts and only one arrived but with all the drinks. Only after we had taken a sip of our drink were we informed that there was a 40 minute delay in the kitchen and if we would like to cancel the second breakfast. Of course we canceled because we didn't want to wait 40 minutes but when the bill came they charged us full price for the drink even though it was supposed to be included in the price of the breakfast and was cheaper. When we asked them to consider the price of the drink because it's their fault that we didn't get it included in breakfast, they made a face and two waiters just rolled their eyes at us. A really disappointing experience and does not justify the price at all. not recommended. Besides that, no waiter came even once to ask if we liked it, and each time we waited a long time until they addressed us

Top breakfast in jerusalem? No way

I looked on trip advisor to have breakfast in the best place in jerusalem. How disappointed i could be this morning when going there? The food is not good: we took couple breakfast and salmon croissant. The waiters should change their jobs… i felt like bothering them for any resquest.

The food is not the most wow but a nice place come there occasionally and also the Arabs Saddam There was an awful experience of the Arab massacre. He was a disgusting racist. Luckily I was calm. We won't come back, neither I nor my friends, no doubt, nor recommend with a disgusting and racist attitude.

This is a cafe / nightclubs / bar / bakery / vegetarian restaurant. Don’t be fooled by the “pulled meat” on the menu- it’s not real. The food they have is good, fresh, and tasty.

Wonderful casual meal with nice background music. Nice staff and anbiance. We enjoyed the 5 colored salad and the vegan burger. And finished with the lemon pie!!

we have walked by this restaurant a number of times but never went in. we were in the vicinity and it started to rain so we decided to go in and have lunch. We are very glad we did !!!!!! Ths is a cafe near the bezalel school of architecture we ate on the patio that was covered and stayed dry during the rain. there is an inside and an upstairs as well for seating we had a delicious sandwich...tomato and mozzarella with eggplant that was grilled on tasty bread and a lox and cream cheese sandwich on ciabatta bread and again delicious. sandwiches are large size. wonderful coffee and orange juice very friendly staff. a waiter named nitai was extremely helpful and knowledgible and very friendly...wanted to make sure the food was perfect and that we were not getting wet or were cold. we are glad we went in to find this wonderful eatery....we will now be frequenting the restaurant evne on sunny and warm days!!!!

One of my favorite cafes in the city! Super diverse, I can spend the day on my laptop with coffee, sit outside and have dinner on the street and then head back in for live music and a beer. Everyone's kind and helpful, menu is almost completely vegan and absolutely delicious!
