There are raging debates about the best ice cream or gelato in Jerusalem. This is certainly a contender. A nice variety. We tried 4 flavors, including a dense chocolate and a passion fruit that were totally delicious.

Quite tasty with many regular and less-common flavors

We were in the mood for some ice cream and this place was fantastic! They have conventional flavors like chocolate and more unique flavors like pomegranate, lemon-mint, and passion fruit (and yes, those are the flavors I had, stacked on top of each other in a cup). Highly recommended!

This place is great for hanging out with friends, and the ice cream flavors are very good. You may not want to sit there because there is little space there.

Very small but managed to find seating. We ordered 4 flavors: tonka, back sesame, basil and matcha. They were all good but the black sesame and basil were particularly good. I then took a taste of wasabi which was unusual but very good.

we tried 4 flavours - chocolate, pistaccio, tonka and chai masala.. I found the last one to be light and lovely, the others were somewhat dissapointing.

Interesting and varied flavors you won't find elsewhere

I'm not a huge ice-cream fan, and when I do partake I prefer classic Italian flavors. Mousseline therefore left me in a quandary. Should I stick to classic chocolate, the only regular flavor they had, or be adventurous? So I tried the saffron ice-cream, the basil ice-cream, the black sesame seed ice-cream, rum& raisins ice-cream, and even some chocolate. All were great!!

Interesting flavors, not very high quality taste

Ice cream is an incredible food -- this place didn't do it for me in terms of their creaminess. They try to experiment with unique flavors, but don't seem to have the basics down.

Best ice cream in Jerusalem! 🍦

Tucked away on a quiet street just a three minute walk from the Jerusalem Theatre, your tastebuds will truly sing upon discovering Mousseline, a tiny artisanal ice cream parlor with a mouth watering selection of homemade ice cream and fruit sorbets!! At about 50 square meters and with minimal signage it’s easy to miss this little gem but well worth the effort, not to mention the calories!

For ice cream lovers and connoisseurs!

This place is a little hard to find, but worth stepping out of the main hustle and bustle of machane yehuda. By far the most homemade tasting and refreshing ice cream I’ve had in Jerusalem. The flavors are not your standard and it’s worth trying a few before deciding what you want a whole cup or cone of. If you are trying as much ice cream in Israel as possible this place should definitely be on your list!

A special sweet break

In the "Machne Yehuda" market you find a small special sweet retreat. This icecream shop hides special flavors of icecream served with great service and attention. I asked if the icecream is gluten free and the positive reply followed with a suggestion for a gloten free cone and with a clean spoon just for me. I tasted the massala flavor which was gentle and not too sweet. My son had poppy seed which was also very good.
