This restaurant is in Jerusalems first historic train station that was opened in 1892. Today the old station has some of Jerusalems fine dining and hip shopping. Hamiznon - kitchen station restaurant is truly the nicest of all the other restaurants in the station and it has a rustic old-timey feel to it. They have a very large variety of... More

The history of this station (which you can read about on giant posters) is fascinating. The food is delicious and plentiful. The setting is lovely--light, open, you can see the whole old Ottoman train station as you dine. Staff is fun!

The "Tachana" or the Station in Jerusalem is a popular location for locals and tourists. One of the restaurants is called Hamiznon - kitchen station. The restaurant is small but quaint , however in the winter it's a bit chilly if you're sitting on the sides. The service was good and the menu was decent. The prices were a bit... More

We were looking for a restaurant in the Tachana Rishona neighbourhood and were recommended Hamiznon. It's a restaurant with a distinctive style of its own and a pleasing view of the Tachana Rishona concourse. It ticked the boxes we wanted for milky/vegetarian. The service was great. The menu was inventive and exciting. We readily found several meals we were happy... More

Our group of 20 were seated at 5 different tables inside this eclectic restaurant. We began with bread and a variety of dips as our table's appetizer, which was also served with olives. Some of the dips were typical and some were funky, but all were delicious. For my entree I had a fish dish which was served in a... More

We were a party of five for dinner on a cool December Saturday night. We booked in advance and on arrival were greeted by a friendly staff member and shown to our table. We ordered different salads which were served in really big and generous bowls. However despite the attractive presentation, the taste of the salads was disappointing and below... More

The place is very nice visually (You can see all the ingredients outside). The food is very tasty (The Jaffa breakfast), the dishes are a bit small, with very little bread, and the price was a bit high, but all in all, we were full and happy when we left

DO NOT EAT HERE! There are many places in Jerusalem to eat, that will not treat the customers like dirt. A friend and I ate there at the recommendation of friends. To make this review to the point, i'll just jot down our issues. 1. We walked into the restaurant, asked if we could sit at a specific table, they... More
