A most excellent restaurant. The food is plentiful is an understatement. If we had been going back to our room, we could have taken 2 take away containers of "left overs". The portions are huge. One plate can easily be shared by 2. The service is excellent as well as the mint tea. Be sure to walk to the market... More

I went there for the fifth time. The atmosphere in the place is warm as well as the decoration with stained glass at the ceiling. We had a very nice waiter who was well behaved and helpful. The salads prior to the main dish were fresh and excellant in tatste. The pita break was warm and fresh as well. Both... More

Was taken here by friends who live in the area and it was EXCELLENT. Very busy but service was good. All the food was excellent and way more than we could eat. Made the "mistake" of ordering too many appetizers. They were great but when the large entrees arrived we could not finish them. In a neighborhood with a great... More

Really nothing to talk about. food is OK - salads are fine but the main dish - most of us had the well know "jerusalem Mix" lacked the special taste and was mainly done with chicken. Dissapointing. the service and atmosphere were avarage.

Was an excellent restaurant when it was a simple structure.Today after its renovation it became one more restaurant of its kind, although the Mixed meat pita on the stand outside is still very good

So many other amazing places to eat near the shuk (for half the price). Not sure why anyone would choose to eat at Hatzot. The food wasn't bad, but nothing to write home about...

Highky overrated. Prices are double what is charged for similar dish in an average restaurant. Big disappointment.

Had lunch for two in this place. The restaurant was full, with a large line of customers waiting to come in. When we set in, the service was very quick, attentive and pleasant. A nice variety of good salads and dips. The food is very fresh and tasty. Highly recommended when in Jerusalem

We went to eat their popular Jerusalem mix and . They serve for appetizer Mediterranean small side salads which are fresh and various about 10 type with regular pita. The mix was too much spicey ( not hot spice) which make it unpleasant to eat. They have other grill choices which at least looks better than our choice.
