When visiting the market Machne Yehuda during the day time, you will be able to buy anything from bagels to fresh vegetables in ludington spices and cheap shoes. It is crowded, colorful and smelly just as a market should be. Take the time to visit...the market during the night and you will have a different scene altogether. Young crowd from the universities and just people who enjoy the vibe. It is a fun place to go to. Eat, drink , talk.More

For years this restaurant consistently produced excellent dishes, a fun atmosphere, and some great chefs. Covid-19 couldn’t change all that. We had shared some great dishes such as the famous Polenta, excellent Calamari, but were disappointed with the meat skewer. It is served to table...too hot to handle, even the waitress couldn’t handle it and left us to try in a few minutes. We were told in advance that the skewer will feature Entrecôte beef instead of fillet. But the beef was not top quality and it was still priced the same 136 ILS (expensive for one skewer).More

Very noisy restaurant, old tables and chairs, I was there with friends from the US and honestly felt embarrassed. food was good, but really not fair price, over expensive for what you get.

Don’t hesitate just booked a table long time in advance and if possible Friday lunch just before Shabbat. And ask for dessert served on the table ;)))

The food was excellent. A nice hippie chic decoration and very polite staff.Although we had no reservations the gave us a table after 3', something rare in the slow moving Israel.

We came Thursday evening, that is know to be the best night to go. It's like a half party half restaurant. The music is really loud, but we knew it was going to be like that and understood it's part of the experience. We took...the 295 shekel per person tasting menu and it was really good! The a lot of food so it's def value for money. The food is really good. Simple but good. I don't think I'd understand what the big deal is if I went for lunch with out the party feel. But all together it was an amazing night!More

We were there at dinner and it was very noisy....my 85 year old mother would have hated it. Maybe at lunch it's quieter?
