Love this place! One of the best restaurants in Israel! During lunch they even have 10% off definitely a bit pricy but worth it. The food is delicious and fresh. Try the polenta you won't be disappointed! The fish tartar and octopus also amazing. They had a special lychee cocktail which was absolutely perfect not too sweet and perfect flavor... More

Tried three times at last got a small seat at the bar. The lovely girls at the bar serve slices of bread in a paper bag with a small bowl of the best tehini I have ever eaten in a restaurant. I chose a Seabass plate which came with vegetables cooked just right. In Jerusalem Mint Tea comes with real... More

11 is were fortunate to dine at Machneyuda to celebrate my birthday in December 2016 but only after our hotel concierge was able to book a reservation for us, several weeks In advance. The restaurant definitely has a very fun atmosphere and the food was over the top, even better than the reviews! We loved the delicious appetizers, salads, main... More

One trip will not be enough to Machane Yehuda! The merchants all beg you to taste their wares. From dried fruit to an amazing cheese selection to mixed spices for rice to tea mixes. And of course the bread, baked goods and candy!! Bring your camera.

You have to book in advance as the restaurant is in high demand. I did the booking through Facebook as through their website didn't work for me. I did the tasting menu and sit at the bar near to the kitchen: best spot :) Good stuff, great food and deserts, shots of Arak kept coming and the Chef and personal... More

The polenta and ceviche for starters were amazing. The chicken liver was amazing, and probably the best we've ever had. For dessert we couldn't help but order the pistachio... More

If your interested in clothing, utensils or appliances imported and marked up and fruits sprayed with pesticides than this is an awesome place for you. Also the constant shreaking about the price per pound of strawberries isn't helping the atmosphere. The strip is littered with bakeries selling cakes and breads made from bleached white flour. However There is an excellent cheese... More
