This is not only the best foodie scene in town, but the hippest place as well. We were able to finagle a reservation at 8:30 on a Sunday night. The place was packed and the maitre d' was turning people away in droves. The music was loud and the staff was lively. Four of us had the tasting menu that... More

Very popular and super hip little restaurant in a great neighborhood with lots of cool bars around the market. Food is creative and authentic. Wait staff is super fun and engaging. It's definitely pricey though so be ready for $35+ usd mains. It's extremely loud though so some people will be turned off by that.

Fresh fruits and vegetables aplenty. Upscale cafes and bars alongside working class eateries. Butchers, bakers and all sorts of surprises await around every corner.

If all you are interested in is well cooked food, this is the place for you in Jerusalem. If you go out for an evening meal where you also want to talk to your fellow diners, forget it. The acoustics are so bad and the piped in music so loud that you can only talk to your neighbor (or the... More

On everyone's list but not sure why. Firsts were very good, but mains not so much. In hindsight, I likely erred ordering the seafood special which was subpar in ingredient quality and kitchen preparation. Our experience at Eucalyptus the next evening was far superior.

One of the best meals I've had in Israel hands down. Everything was absolutely delicious. I came on a random Tuesday so I was able to walk in with no problem and get a table by the bar, which is now one of my favorite places to sit by, just so I can chat more with the staff on what... More

Such a friendly, atmospheric place to enjoy a meal. We were seated at the bar and the waitress made us relax immediately and joined us in a toast. What followed was delicious food and equally good drinks. Enjoy

The food is quite good as is the service but the noise is deafening. The PA system is vibrating with extremely loud music and it is impossible to have a conversation with your guests unless you enjoy a shouting match. If you enjoy eating at an active rail yard or a jet tarmac with noise exceeding 120 dibs, then you... More

Best meal I've had in three trips to Jerusalem. The atmosphere is fun and the space is vaguely reminiscent of New Orleans. The music is loud but fun. Despite a reputation for fine food it does not take itself too seriously. Our waiter was dancing on a table with a birthday celebrant.
