Still in takeaway mode but may open to sit next week, they serve a variety of delicious meat dishes in frena (Moroccan pita). Enjoy

First time here and based on the rave reviews had very high expectations. Ordered the 'assado' appetizer. This slow cooked meat should have been moist and tender but the slow cooking magic didnt work on the cut we got. It was tasty but too hard....The Morrocan fish included 3 very small piecd of fried tilapia in a typical tomato sauce. The fish was mediocre and so was the sauce - a bit too sour and insufficiently balanced. The Frena bread was excellent. We were planning on ordering more but were out of appetite at this point. The waitress was kind. We were wondering if we should come back for another try. Not sure.More

Great restaurant with delicious and tasty food. Nice and clean! Ambience and atmosphere is very special. Meal is served with beautiful and interesting dishes and platters.. Good to go to a restaurant in the center of Jerusalem that follow the Corona restrictions. Kobi the manager...and owner is a super nice guy and Michal is an awesome waitress. We truly enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend Chefchaouen!!More

It’s one of the best Jerusalem food experience you can ever get here. It’s a Moroccan place with different dishes from arias to a burger. I had a black burger and it’s amazing! They also have a vegetarian/vegan beyond meat option which is even better....People make the atmosphere even more awesome. It’s a family business where you actually can’t find anything that disappoints you. What’s more, it’s a pet friendly place so you can enjoy food with your furry friend. I highly recommend this place to anyone who’s either trying to find an outdoor place to spare the evening, have a great food or just have a beer.More

Based on TA reviews we decided to check out Chechaouenjrs. Nice covered outdoor terrace with heat. My wife had the Moroccan fish stew, and I haD the special kenabs (lamb and veal). Food was terrific and the service was prompt. One of the best meals...we had in Israel.More
