Our group of 5 had a fabulous lunch here. Atmospheric for certain, and a separate garden type of setting for larger groups. I liked that I could sit in a more restaurant setting, and it was quieter, but so authentic. Great starters, plenty of food with entree's. Wine was great but so was the lemonade, a real treat!

This is the 4th time I've been to Bulghourji with a group. The food and service are very good. This time, we arrived for lunch after 5 hours walking around the Old City. The servers never had to be asked to bring more bottles of water for our large (24) thirsty group - the water kept coming. The food (delicious... More

This restaurant is located in a historic mill in the Armenian quarter of the Old City. The owner Naro was fabulous and accommodating. We had a large group with 9 children under the age of 13 at the table. I called last minute for a birthday cake, and he managed to purchase one and supply candles. Food was DELICIOUS and... More

We stayed in the Armenian Quarter and our host recommended this place. Nice large outside area to sit where we sat, but could have been better inside as there was a large group outside. We had Armenian Pizza with Sujuk and salad as the first course and shared a whole dennis fish. All very tasty. Sujuk is Armenian spicy sausage... More

Typical middle eastern cuisine . You can also have lambchops and steak. First thdy bring the hummus and salads with pita , then the main meal. Beautiful building in the Armenian quarter. One of my favourit places to eat in Jerusalem.

We ate here the last night we were in Jerusalem. The staff was excellent and we were treated like kings. The wine from the owner's vineyard was awesome. I would buy it here in the states if I could. What a beautiful stone building. The food was wonderful and many different items were served. What a great way to end... More

Stopped in on Christmas Eve and intended to have a drink and appetizer. Appetizer, Armenian pizza-like offering, was so tasty we stayed for dinner. Grape leaves appetizer delicious; outstanding choice. We had mixed grill, tasty variety of meats. Decent house red wine. Beer selection could be better. Portion size good. Reasonable price for Jerusalem. Apparently this place caters to bus... More

Great appetizers are all you need when they are so plentiful and delicious. We were part of a large group and found the service very good, considering our numbers. The food was tasty and perfect for a lunch. I'd recommend this to others who want to experience the historic flavour of this lovely historic building in the old city.
