Had a great time at the red heifer! I will be back. Had delicious starters of the beef kadah and chicken liver. Both were out of this world. My friend and I had the short ribs and a steak salad. And for desert a delicious chocolate fudge. The service was beyond amazing. The chef even came over to say hi... More

The food was amazing. We had the poppers for an appetizer and a steak for the main. The quality for both was outstanding. The sauces were brilliant and the homemade pickles were great. The meat is free range, grass fed and hormone free!! The service was just as good as the food. My wife and I were just there for... More

Had a peasant time at this steak place. Ordered hamburger and found it a pleasant change from a number of other places that confuse good food preparation with the necessity of offering dishes with multiple ingredients. Good wine, pleasant service. Well located across from the King David and near the Y.

This restaurant is overpriced for the poor service and food they provide. When we first arrived they asked us if we had a reservation. We said no, thinking that since we're a party of 2 it wouldn't be a big deal. The waitress gave us a look and reluctantly seated us in a corner (when most of the tables were... More

Dear Jsam290, I would like to thank you for your review. I would also like to apologize that you showed up without a reservation and we were holding tables for people that did make reservations. I visited red haired at my visit to israel last week. Everything beside the steaks were great. Unfortunately the meat was real poor quality. All what the manager said was tell me how to fix it. I was charged full price even though we didn't eat it.

I was in Jerusalem to visit my son. We decided on this restaurant. We were not disappointed: We had no reservations, but some tables were not occupied, so the hostess gave us a very nice table. It was with some trepidation that we ordered steak, after all this is the Middle East where things are maybe done a little bit... More

Called restaurant to enquire about opening hours and availability but did not reserve. Arrived 30 mins later to be greeted by a mature gentleman who politely asked if we reserved. We said no, only to be snapped at "we will accept you" - the restaurant was empty at 1900hrs, we were the only people present. I responded "thats nice we'll... More

Sorry you chose not to stay...it seems the friendly managers attitude and jestful response got lost in translation. Hopefully you will try us again next time. The steaks are always juicy and tender :) More

Walking back from a couple of good pints at the whiskey bar, my colleague and my self decided to go for a bit of steak. Now I'm quite particular about my steak and a good cut of rib eye I like rare with a decent char coating... Now this place delivered and more! The steak: perfect. The sauces: spot on!... More
