I was not very hungry when I visited and was intending to share with a friend but was informed when we wanted to order that there is a minimum spend of 60 shekels per person. I ended up getting the mixed platter (forgot the exact name of this main course), which had a rather big portion. Definitely recommend it as... More

We went here for lunch. Our young waiter was the nephew of the owner who was tending the small bar. Both were very pleasant and friendly. This is a beautiful place! You step down into it from the street like going into a cave. Take the steps down and you will be in awe of the beautiful decor. If you... More

After a week of middle eastern food, our tour guide told us we were going to have Authentic Armenian food. It was delicious, but tasted like pretty much everything we had already had. They served mostly family style for our tour group. Delicious hummus and byoreks (like cheese blintzes). The pita bread was warm and toasty too. Great salads and... More

Very nice restaurant. I would say it almost authentic Armenian - I would expect little bit more Armenian food there. But anyway, the food was very good, service was friendly. It has kind of home authmosphere. On a way from Old city, just before Jaffa gate - jump there. You will like it.

The authentic decor and the atmosphere give a feeling of an old tavern. The food is well made and tasty, we had lamb "shashlik" and beef kebab with couple of beers. The service was warm and friendly. and our orders came pretty fast. The place offers authentic Armenian kitchen for a reasonable price. This is an excellent place to stop... More

We get the advise to visit this restaurant but we get disapointed a lot. The food was cold, the waiters gave the idea we had to hurry, the waiters are not really patience with their guests. Outside it smells like terrible good food but it isnt what we expected. We don't go back.

The quaint and interesting decor with the multiple glass lights really add to the pleasant welcoming atmosphere. The food is excellent good selection and service is very good. We had a lovely evening here well worth a visit.

This is a very quaint tavern in that the decor is like a museum. The service is fast and friendly and the food is wonderful. We had a Greek Salad and Ground Lamb Meat kebab - one of each and split it. Glad we did. Great stop for both food and atmosphere.

Not the best place for vegetarians. Practically there are no different salads, soups. Expensive and once again - expensive. Nearby you can find much more optimal options.

This is a good solid mid-tier Armenian restaurant, pleasant atmosphere with some interesting decor, pleasant service, and indeed, open on Shabbat given that the Armenian Orthodox are Christian. They have very good Armenian cognac. I also recommend their Friday special, Shinye.
