I had an iced latte which came in a takeaway cup and was quite small. It tasted nice but contained a lot of ice. Hubby had a mocha which tasted just like hot chocolate and wasn’t as hot as it could have been. We were...served fairly quickly and the staff smiled when taking the order and delivering it. It was quite busy so obviously popular but not sure I’d return again.More

Good for breakfast and have a good time and rest after walking around in the jaffa street. Coffee is not strong since they but it in big glass. Tip is not included in price and they ask for it explicitly. Sweet is good.

If you are thirsty and would like some water do not go to this Coffee Bean...I needed hot water and they sold it to me for 10 shekels...who sells water??? Wow! I paid it because I was thirsty and needed to mixed cold water with...hot to make it warm. I can't drink cold water. The following day I walked by a restaurant near my hotel and asked if they could sell me water, they staff told me to go inside and get the water for FREE. As an appreciation for their kindness I ate at that restaurant every day. SHAME ON YOU Coffee Bean!More

We have been here 2 times in 2 different days. Both times we paid and we were told tip was not included...fine, I already wanted to leave a 10%, so no problem. The problem is that once you pay the waiters take your money and...leave you for ages at the cashier...the second time I had to go and just left the change. Not fair at all. Never again.More

My family and I are visiting family in Israel. After a long day of walking around the Old City and visiting the Wall, we decided to stop by the Coffee Bean for a warm drink and some dessert. Just about everything we each ordered, the...waitress kept coming back to the table and saying they didn't have any. It also took about 10 minutes in between to check to see if they had what we wanted, only for her to come back and say they were out. When we finally settled on a few items that they did have, she brought us cold (almost frozen) apple pie and a dried up piece of carrot cake. The drinks arrived first, but by the time we got the dessert, we were done with the drinks. If we were doing it all over again, we probably should have walked out immediately. Save your scheckles and walk a few more steps down Jaffe St. and find a place with better service, great coffee, tea and tasty desserts.More

This is not just a coffee shop. Very good menu selection and reasonable pricing. They easily served and accommodated our group of 10.

After a physical renovation, my wife and i visited a week ago. We were quite surprised that the Hillel Cafe across the street was soooo busy and the Coffee Bean had less than 10 customers. After we tasted our Blended caramel coffee, it all cam...into focus. The drink was bland and tasteless. We were charged about $7.50 for a bunch of colored ice and sugar. No coffee flavor and no caramel flavor. I sure hope they get the act together, as we used to love to go there.More

We were seated at noon and were quickly given menus upon reaching the table. 15 minutes in to our stay we had yet to be asked what we wanted to order, no big deal, I went to order our drinks at the front and they...were quickly made. The drinks were nothing special. Probably not going to come back during our time in Israel.More

Four of us sat down to a lunch meeting. The gluten-free, no onions lunch arrived with gluten and onions. The eggplant shakshukah which we were told was a little sour, was positively inedible (and the Manager refused to change it); My coffee never arrived despite...three reminders. Only one guy was happy. The same waitress then smashed a bottle of soda on the floor before being fired. Poor thing - she was obviously in above her head. The guy who cleaned the floor propped the broom and mop stick against a table of a couple who were eating - very appetizing - not! Apart from all this, the food was, at best, average.More
