We often eat here and call it out little secret gem. Hats off to the lovely owner she makes everyone feel welcome and makes amazing, authentic, Israeli food. Our favorite falafel place in Jerusalem and the garden is beautiful..
My reputation was on the line when I invited two friends to join my wife and me at this neighborhood "hole in the wall". I ended up a hero! The falaffel and schnitzel are made to order and taste perfect. The food comes up quickly....The outdoor tables in the garden were a delightful place to eat.More
I went there with my son who enjoyed the falafel so much he went back for a second round. All the food was freshly made. Service was charming and intimate and we ate in the little garden out back which was very pleasant.
KAshrut is...hashgacha pratit which not everyone agrees with but we have no problem with it.More
My wife and I searched far and wide across Israel for the best falafel. We ate at many excellent hummus bars, but Benchuk was the best by far! Their falafel are exceptional and their mushroom hummus was also top notch. The only reason this place...is not at the top of the TA ratings is because it is out of the common tourist path!More
This small neighborhood place is entirely without pretension but serves a small menu of humus, salads, falafel and a few meat options. The food is tasty, the service is good, the place is clean and the prices are reasonable.
We shall return!
