This is a very nice and casual place, located in old Haifa, close to the city port. The burgers are delicious and excellent quality, the beef stew is comforting, the pork homemade sausages with cabbage is amazing. The prices are very reasonable. Nice place!

Great place for light dinner

We were couple looking for nice place for light Donne and followed by some friends recommendation. The place was well organized due to the COVID-19 regulations. The stuff were very welcoming and provided us with all the answers on the dishes. That have the choice for 4 starters with special price which we took and that was excellent!!!. We took the Libira sandwich for main course and it was big enough to share. Now the the highlight - Don’t miss their beer!!!! Next time I will go for small glass so I will have some room for 2nd or 3rd glass 😀. We will absolutely return in the future.

Very Good Beer

My wife and I had dinner here and liked it. I had a flight of 4 beers - all were very good. Food was good not great. My burger tasted good but was very sloppy. My wife’s steak was a little undercooked and was ok. (Note that the restaurant is not Kosher. ) Our waiter was excellent - very friendly and helpful. The woman who works the front desk and seated us was miserable. She doesn’t smile or speak to the customers. Not sure why anyone would hire for a job dealing with the public. A very good brewpub that sells decent food.

noon, We arrived at 11.45, they open at 12.00. We asked to sit and wait, The answer: outside! We didn't feel well outside, we came back at 12.15. The waitress arrived at work at 12.20, And at some point she also turned to us. Diners who arrived long after us, received food while we were waiting. Exactly an hour after we entered we received the main course. We called on the person who claimed to be the manager, to share with him some insights, He looked from afar, turned and left. Unfortunately, the food has also moved to the medium segment. When we left the kitchen staff was busy operating the mobiles. A place we loved that turns itself onto the do not enter list.

Libera: A Disappointing Experience

I didn't know the place, so we grabbed a beer and assess if we wanted to continue with our evening. Conveniently, you can make a reservation online. The ambiance is acceptable, but the venue is quite large and excessively noisy, with loud music that can make conversations challenging. We opted for the Belgian beer. While the beer (homebrew) was decent, it didn't leave a lasting impression. Because of the noise level, we agreed to stick with just one drink. The staff was average, but disappointingly slow. We had to repeatedly call for their attention just to get the bill. When the waitress finally arrived to collect the payment (which totaled 58 ILS for two beers, and I handed her a 100 ILS note), she asked if I wanted change. This question was rather surprising, especially considering the lackluster service we experienced. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

So our order consisted of 3 different hamburger meals. The summary of our experience is quite poor, as follows: 1. The parts of the hamburger are served seperately (example: bread and meat seperately) although this wasn't said to us in advance and wasn't written on the menu. 2. The bread and vegetables seemed dry. 3. The additions to the burgers (cheese, bacon, chipotle etc') were dumped on the meat (or worse - on the side) in a very ugly way. 4. An amount of liquids accumulated next to the meat. 5. The fries were dry and sometimes not fried long enough. 6. All three burgers arrived well-done while we ordered none of them to be well-done. 7. Definitely not even worth half of the price stated. Beware.

After long friendship with Libira we desided to say final good bye. At last Saturday we stayed hungry after more than hour waiting. To imperfect food was added terrible service. After talk with manager we got proposition to get coffee (for two hungry ppl) and of course we rejected it. To be fair part of beers is not bad here but I wouldn't recommend this place if you r looking for good food and service.

The bear is very good. Atmosphere is nice. However some of the dishes are tastey, but some are not. We took four halfs to star with. Eggplant was nice but too much nuts. The liver pate was nice, but too many pistachio. The rest was ok, nothing more. As for the main course, my picanha was very dry. Done too much. The rissoto was ok. Service was a bit slow. It took a while between dishes.... I am nit sure that the good beer justify another visit.

I really love this place! They have very interesting beers and nice food that is not too conventional! And the stuff is very friendly, it is almost like visiting friends.
