we came in for a late lunch, which proved to be a good decision, as the place wasn't too busy. we ordered 2 cocktails from the long list, both were very good and refreshing. For starter we ordered the roast beef with egg salad, the portion was big, the roast beef with mustard was good and the egg salad was a very nice addition to the dish. For entree I had the spicy shrimp cooked in tomato sauce, this is not a big portion but it was very good. My dearest had the grilled pork chop which was very good and tender

We enjoyed our first visit to Venya enough to return for an even better 2nd dinner with friends. We shared 2 starters and a tomato mozzarella salad, all very tasty with a nice Rioja wine. The smoked brisket was a big hit with the meat eaters at the table. The pasta with fish was excellent as well. We went on a week night to enjoy a pleasant atmosphere that allowed for comfortable conversation (not noisy) with very attentive service.

We come to this restaurant often. The food is always creative, interesting and wonderful. It is so much fun to meet new inventions on the menu. Classic dishes receive new interpretations and local ingredients are used. You know that you will always be served with great food that will make you happy and the cocktails are great too. The atmosphere is always up. Our favorites: scallops, fucacha, andiv salad, the fish, the steak, well.. everything really!

An unpleasant and unpleasant experience. I ordered a dish. I asked for a replacement because it was not tasty and did not match the description of the dish by the waiter. They confirmed and I ordered another dish. It is important to note that it was also not tasty, but for reasons of unpleasantness it was not returned. Disappointment
The place looks inviting. We saw good reviews and a famous chef and decided to give it a shot.
Booked a table two weeks in advance for 4 people. We like yo eat and drink, willing to spend the money.. (The prices are on the higher place on the scale...).
So, we came all the way from Tel Aviv. On time, sharp. They gave us a poor spot. Table right in the middle of the restaurant in front of the door where it's cold and all the waiters are crossing. Can we please move to another decent table? we asked. How about this one on the side? They checked. Came back very quickly. " This is the situation," the young waiter said rudely. The other tables are reserved. I guess they are reserved for the important people...
We tried to sit outside. It was loud and very cold. Left the place.

The retaurant is located near the harbor, nice to sit outside , good breeze and vibe.. Small portioned salads: we chose the Andive salad which was an ordinary lettuce salad and the cauliflower salad which was nice. For mains we had 6 different plates, no one enjoyed their meal:
Sea bass in tomato sauce: dry small portion - a disapointment.
Ravioli with feta cheese and chard (mangold in hebrew) - mediocre.
Spagettini in spicy sauce with fish: unrecognizable sauce, with low graded pasta and untasty fish . Hanger steak ( KATSAVIM IN HEBREW) : sauce was not compatible to the steak and the meat was not special.
Brisket ok.
Deserts: chocolate mousse dry , not fluffy as expected from a mousse. The apricot tart was good - the only plate we really enjoyed.
We payed for 6 920 NIS and did not enjoy the meal.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Do not go there. Bad service, no respect to customers, sitting arrangement was outside under the sun with no shade, food arrived late, cold, not coordinated with the other partner, the side dish arrived after one has already eaten the main coarse. The food does not pay tribute to the famous chef. Restaurant management sucks. It looks like it is all only public relations.

Previously, four of us went to eat here and everything was totally perfect, so I booked this for our wedding anniversary on Friday. First of all, before anything, I must say that the restaurant crew are totally delightful, friendly and warm. However, we were squashed into the corner, next to a party of 9 really loud people, the restaurant was way over-crowded for the amount of staff to handle, IMHO. Our first courses of shrimps (frozen) and scallops were delicious. However, my steak came out COLD and way before my husband's meat stew (which I really don't understand at all), no apology offered and it was brought back (again before my husband's dinner), slightly warmer, with the sauce missing and a rather peculiar texture. I found this to be extremely unprofessional - I came out to eat with my husband, not watch him. What I really found mystifying is why they couldn't time my steak to be ready and HOT when all they had to do was serve out a portion of the stew. The crack pie was good, not as good as in other places in Tel Aviv. Won't be returning, there are far too many new restaurants in Haifa to try out these days.

We came to celebrate the birthday of my mom. Never been before but heard lots about the place.
The atmosphere was spectacular. Nice 80s music in the background for the most of the night, great attitude, nice customers chatting, just a great vibe. The food was very tasty. I ordered the "seafood linguini" and it was delicious! The staff was nice and attentive. The prices were average for restaurants in the area. It isn't cheap but it's worth the price. Overall great place, great food, great experience.

If you’re looking for place to go out in Haifa downtown this one is just perfect ,shrimps and crab bisque is my favorite , fish was delicious as well

One of the best meals I have ever had in Israel!
Everything from the starters to the mains to the desserts were perfect.
The service was attentive and friendly.
Everyone was incredibly happy with their choices.
