Yes the food is really worth the trip. But the waitresses make you feel they're doing you a favor. Both of them. On one of my attached pictures I took the back of one of the waitresses' T shirt and it says in, Hebrew of...course, Furious Moroccan! Why would they be so uninviting? My wife and me had the Fish couscous and it was really delicious. And you know what? I'll be back, yes! Because the food is too good, and for a fair price. But my low rating is there just to make them understand that...they need us, the customers, and not the opposite.More

This small but fine restaurant is a real culinary pleasure. The food is delicious. The prices are reasonable. The service is wonderful. I warmly recommend this local marocan style restaurant.

This is a local joint that is away from the tourist areas and frequented by locals. It’s a Moroccan restaurant and their specialty is couscous. The food was delicious and the place was packed so obviously there are a lot of people who know about...Lallo’s. There is no English menu so speaking a little Hebrew helps. Our waitress didn’t speak much English but between my Hebrew and her English we got through it.More

Suggestion #1) Use Apple or Google Maps to find Lalo’s Restaurant at HaHorev 259. It is easy to locate even if you are offline with no data plan. Suggestion #2) If you speak English but not Hebrew, just say, “Shalom. Ata midabear Anglit?” This means,...Hello. Do you speak English.” These few words make everything easier in Israel. The staff at Lalo’s does speak some English. Lalo’s is a gem. They generally have chicken with couscous and vegetables. I highly recommend it. Portion sizes are generous and prices are reasonable by Eilat standards. Hours are Sunday they Thursday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm local time. It is worth the walk to find this restaurant located not far away from the Eilat Airport.More

Very good and not fancy restaurant. Authentic food. Very tasty. Very large portions. We took couscous, meat balls, Spicy fish with red sauce, meat and peas... Very good service. Highly recommended. The menu is written on a black board, and dishes are erased when its...finished. So its better to come at ~13:00 to have many options.More

Graet food, big portions & reasonable prices, wish they were open for dinner too... starting with Morroccan salads followed by cuscus and other Moroccan delicacies... only one complaint - fish they served (salmon & st. Petter ) did not swim in the red sea...

While many mention the couscous I recommend the baked fish dishes with braised vegetables. Delicious! The food, service and prices are every bit as good as stated... which is why Lalo is a local landmark.

I ordered cuscus with vegetables and potato with stuffed meat. It came with fresh salad. I also ordered a jar of lemonade... Very good food with a descent price. Will visit again.

Off the beaten track but well worth a visit. We came on a recommendation and arrived having done a lot of walking around the north of Eilat. It's cafe style with a menu on a chalkboard all in Hebrew. Food is Moroccan and our friendly...waitress took the time to go through it for us. We chose the couscous with both chicken and meatballs and weren't disappointed. Excellent standard in a cosy and friendly setting, mostly locals but very welcoming.More
