We had a lovely family dinner here overlooking the aqueduct, with several storks nesting on top! Imam bayildi was excellent, Turkish pizzas great and they also did a normal marguerita for our youngest. We were offered complimentary pitta bread for starters and complimentary and very delicious melon for dessert. The apple tea is excellent. Very friendly and efficient service, and... More

Nur is an unassuming little place, super friendly and helpful, and generous with portions (although we soon found that is not at all uncommon in Turley in general!). We ate here 3 times in a single holiday, which is practically unheard of for us and speaks to the beautiful food and ambience in this lovely little place. Favourite meals were... More

Nur sits in Selcuk town centre right next to the fountain and overlooking the beautiful aquaduct and resident Storks. The food is basic but fabulous and very good value. The two gents who run the place are unobtrusive but very friendly and pleasant. We have been there about five times on two seperate adventures in Turkey and have never been... More

We went to this restaurant for an iftar meal, so we were pretty starving when we got there. The food was incredible. The lentil soup was some of the best I've ever had. It was rich and flavorful, not just boiled lentils like some other places serve. They gave us a fresh-baked pide to enjoy with our baba ghanouj, and... More

We had dinner here not thinking what to expect and it turned out to be one of the excellent Turkish food we ever had in an equally excellent atmosphere. We had Iskender Kebab, Special Chicken and Fillet. The bread they served was made at their restaurant and was enormous. One of the excellent place to have dinner and highly recommended.

There are quite a few restaurants in the Selcuk town centre and as menus are similar you use other factors to determine which one to dine in. This particular restaurant had just a little bit less tourists than the others ones in the area so it was chosen. Staff was friendly but not pushy - did not try to push... More

We visited Selcuk and the Basilica of St John so went into town for a quick lunch. The streets are packed with restaurants and it was difficult to pick one above the other. We decided on Nur and what a great choice. The food was quickly prepared and home made and tasty. The main course came with a complimentary cheese... More

Great atmosphere. You could have a great meal with ancient sightseeing. Near by the centre and the main hearth of the city location fun area, water and fountain near by old aqueduct pillars in the background. adana shish kebab of beef/lamb tasted distinctly of mutton though. Complimentary Turkish bread fresh hot out of the wood oven and Turkish pizza, traditional meal also usually homemade, vegetarian meze plate village-style lamb ,Wonderful baklava and künefe dessert.
