Bridge restaurant is defiantly overrated, food is normal, and still expensive, the only view you can see is the bridge and it isn't that clear. Service is terrible they made us change seats like 3 times. If only I could rate them 0.

This restaurant has an excellent view of the Bosphorus bridge. The service was very good..I was not happy with my order, which was "antrikot" . It was easy to park...but I would not recommend it for the quality of food...

Enjoyed a very nice meal here with colleagues whilst on business in Istanbul. This was my first trip to Turkey and I enjoyed both the food and the view. I look forward to returning.

on a hill over the bosphorus it has a perfect view of the bridge. It is a very formal and elegant restaurant with waiters all over you. And given the fact that everyone wants to be close to the window you end up sitting too close to other tables while the rest of the restaurant stays empty. The food is... More

I consider myself lucky that on my short visit to Istanbul, that we ate here overlooking the Bosphorus. Service was superb, food and wine was fresh and delicious. We got here a little late but it was still great and no hint of rushing us. The view at night of the Box hours was beautiful and iconic. Try this place,... More

We were lucky to get a table towards the end with the best view of the bridge. Wonderful ambience, excellent service, great food, fantastic/reasonable prices! We had the mezze platter and their popular lamb chops. Both great. And the baklava was probably the best we've ever had!

Apart from the gun fire coming from the military academy next door (a little unnerving at first) - this is a nice place to sit and admire the views From a food standpoint, the calamar were over salted though the lamb was very tender and nicely cooked - perhaps I was a bit harsh with my score because if the... Staying in Uskudar

Neighborhood Profile
Home to more than half a million residents, Uskudar on the Asian side of the Bosphorus is one of Istanbul’s most densely populated neighborhoods. Once a Greek colony, later a haven for people from across the Mediterranean and the Middle East, this gateway to Asia has been an active and diverse hub for eons. Still, visitors to Uskudar are often more overcome by its myriad treasures than by its many thousand residents. And with fairytale settings such as the “Maiden’s Tower” as well as grand examples of Ottoman Era architecture, plenty of parks, a gorgeous and lengthy coastline, and some of Turkey’s holiest sites, there’s no end to the sightseeing possibilities. Easily reached from the city’s European shores via a steady network of ferries, time spent in Uskudar reveals a “real life” Istanbul that many who experience find extremely fascinating.
