I promised Dilek, the waitress that I would make a review and it took sometime, but here I am to share the amazing experience we had. We went for breakfast and loved the great food, lots of options, the view from the city and overall, the service was incredible! Thanks Dilek for making our breakfast so special, you are the... I went here for a solo dinner during a brief stopover in Istanbul. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I had the crunchy ravioli for starters in yogurt, stuffed chicken breast for main course and local Turkish pudding for dessert. With drink included, the total was just a 100 lira (about 25 Euro), very good value for the quality of... More

Sought this place out for lunch after a few hours wandering around the Topkapi Palace. Given the no.1 TripAdvisor rating in the whole of Istanbul I feared that I may not get a table, or that it may be over-hyped. I needn't have worried on either front. The restaurant was empty at 3pm and I was able to choose one... More

Incredibly chic panoramic view of the Bosphorus, the Galata Bridge and the tower, Sofia and Topkapi. Excellent cuisine! Wonderful service, friendly waiters. The chef does not serve his number boringly, and in each dish he puts his imagination and soul. There is a section of Ottoman cuisine on the menu, but there is an Istanbul handwriting in every dish, and... More

Yavuz took care of my wife and I as we dined overlooking both the blue mosque and Aya Sofia. He did a great job! We started with the vegetarian mixed meze, the eggplant, hummus and yoghurt was incredible...only to be followed up by olive's take on a Turkish classic. We were both thoroughly impressed with the service, atmosphere and the... More

Had some really great food, prices were better than expected, and the service was top notch. Beware however - there was live music the night we were here and it was VERY loud, so if that's not your thing you might want to call and check beforehand.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
