You must see this little cafe in Yeldegirmeni. It is decorated like historical Haydarpasa train station. The pictures on the walls include details of station's view. The sandwiches are named after the well known trains of Haydarpasa. Food is very good too but a bit...higher than neighborhood. Must visit if you happen to pass Kadikoy.More

The best Turkish you'll find in katakoy and perhaps Istanbul. Awesome and kind staff get the breakfast spread, everything Turkish. Went 2x during my week first morning and last morning.

The staff were wonderful, lunch was fantastic and the atmosphere was laid back and welcoming. Absolutely a fine specimen of the idiocyncratic Kadikoy neighborhood!

This little cafe was down the street from our hostel (Hush Lounge) and we had our last meal in Istanbul here for brunch. Everything was delicious, and the ambiance was local, and innovative. They served everything you would expect in a Turkish breakfast, and were...very prompt and helpful. Free wifi.More
