This was right by our hotel so lucky to have found it as in a very quiet location. It felt like walking into a little bistro in Paris. So quaint with the quirky decor. Jazz music playing in the background gives it an even more...chilled vibe. Staff are do warm and friendly. Menu is small bit what they offer is outstandingly good! Steak with fried potoates ( not fries but homemade slices of potato) and salad. Best steak I've had in a long time and only 50TL. Wine selection is super, had quite a few glasses of the merlot which is delicious. Would definitely return here on our next visit to Istanbul and make sure we stay close.More

I chanced upon this gem with my nephew who's an extremely picky eater and we both fell in love with the food and have come here 2 more times over our 5 days in Turkey. The portions are very decent and taste great. In his...and guy fieri's words, its 'flavourtown'.More

It was hard to get a booking at this delightful restaurant close to our hotel. but we were glad we had persevered. The décor is charming and reminiscent of a European bistrot.A small but interesting Mediterranean menu and recommended wines. A lovely night out on...a miserable rainy evening.More

Nice, clean and little restaurant very close to Karakoy station, it reminds european style locals. Menù includes mediterranean typical food and turkish wine selection. A glass is around 40 liras, a bottle 180 liras. Staff is kind and service is quiet quick.

When you enter this restaurant, you find a cosy, nice atmosphere. It was very crowded even fir lunch. If you can catch a waiter and order a dish, the food is also good. They have a daily menu apart from the standard menu ( it...is only written outside the restaurant. If you don’t see it at the entrance, nobody mentions it. We ordered fried anchovies ( hamsi) with salad and it was a big and delicious option. Their desserts are average, the chocolate cake was better than the mosaic cake. But the waiters were very uninterested in the clients. As everyone mentions this, they must be given a training. Prices are similar to similar restaurants. Toilets are upstairs on the third floor. Türkçe not: garsonlarınıza mutlaka eğitim vermelisiniz. Son derece profesyonellikten uzak ve ilgisizler. Kötü bir şey yapmaları gerekmiyor, hizmet vermeyi bilmiyorlar.More

Lovely find a 2 min walk away from our hotel 10 Karakoy. Staff were friendly and happy to give recommendations. The fried seabass was a really decent size and overall a tasty, simple but well balanced dish. Prices extremely reasonable.

Sitting pretty with an age-old air about it, Karakoy
