The food here is intense. Vibrant colors and extreme flavors were the theme. It was innovative as well as staying Turkish as well. The lamb brains, grilled artichoke with clotted cream and tarama were menu highlights. If you like semi obscure food done well, put this on your list.

My girlfriend took me out for a date here, and it was spectacular. Although the restaurant was empty, the terrace was beautifully set—it felt warm and full on that Tuesday night. The service was friendly and cool, among the best we've experienced in Istanbul. Each course was creative and flavorful, experimental takes that hit all the right notes. We ordered... More

Fantastic food an wine. Great atmosphere with very nice and helpful staff that inspired us to try dishes that gave us a good introduction to the Turkish kitchen. We loved it and will be back.

This was my best meal after 1,5 week in Istanbul. Had several small dishes and all of them were really good! The service was great.

Great atmosphere and deco, great staff and service, and great food - what's not to like? Enjoyed the raki and the expert advice from the very kind waiter.

After a long day walking around Beyoglu, we had a great dinner. We tried the squid couscous, olives, cauliflower and cucumber salad, everything tastes great and the place has a very lively ambiance.

This place is GREAT! Turkish food modernised and reimagined. In Beyoglu district, near a handful of cool shops, bars and restaurants, service was perfect, sharing menu works really well, especially the owner starts spinning the DJ deck! Loved it!

This lovely little place is in the antique district of Istanbul - a charming and authentic, yet young neighborhood of Istanbul. The restaurant itself is decorated nicely and has a chic cocktail menu. The dishes are basically medium sized tapas style with many interesting choices. We tried the prawns, meatballs, salads, black couscous, and a few fish dishes. The anchovy... More

İt is the first modern meyhane in İstanbul. The food is fantastic. The best rakı brand in Turkey is Beylerbeyi Rakı and they serve it. The Location is great. İf you go to any meyhane in İstanbul you have to listen turkish music but not here, they are playing great music, after 23:00 when its crowded it turns to a... More

Gorgeous small meze style meal and drink on two visits to this restaurant both at the table and one just at the bar. Very memorable.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
