I went there 2 times to eat. Cozy place, good food. They had a little bit difficulties understanding gluten free, but I got amazing Halloumi. Next day, the halloumi was deep fried and had to ask for same glutenfree halloumi as the day before. But I would say it's worth going here :)

Always a good choice all day long. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, small snacks or drinks. Friendly staff, nice interior and tables outside for warmer days.

The first morning of our o.e in Turkey having landed late the night prior and made our way to our suite in Çihangir, we were Hank Marvin and this little cafe looked inviting. It was nice sitting out the front watching life go by with easy beats in the background, a good coffee and a tasty breakfast. Nice start to... More

Located in the very hip sector of Cihangir, Smyrna continues to satisfy. Over the twelve days of our stay in Istanbul we visited four times. One time the placed looked totally packed but within seconds they had assembled a table and chairs on the sidewalk for us. The menu is quite extensive. Ranging from falafel, salads, pastas, steak, sandwiches and... More

Pricey, but worth it if you're in the neighborhood. We had an apartment in Cihangir so we were there almost every evening.

Recommended from our hotel, Witt Istanbul Suites, we went here our first night in. It was about a 5 minute walk. Definitely a place that you should check out! We went a few times more during our trip, their Turkish Pasta is really good. The staff is friendly, and the ambiance makes you feel at home.

Stumbled upon this cafe one cold winter morning, and boy, did it turn out to be good! Their eggs Benedict was delicious, and came in a generous portion. Coffee was good as well. Decoration is quirky and I'm guessing this cafe comes alive in the evenings. Cihangir is a great hang out place!

Very warm place ideal for a couple of drinks with your friends. Nice decor and also good music. Wine is not so good but generally is a good place for hanging out at night.

This place always seems full of the Cihangir caricatures, and that is not a bad thing. One could do worse than to be seen in a trendy hang-out that exudes a sense of being in the know about the local area. If reputation isn't what you're looking for, you are sure to find something to your liking on the largely-reasonable... More

You can be either inside or outside but the latter is where everyone seems to hang out. A to be seen place in Cihangir, a good crowd and fine drinks!
