This restaurant offers a simple true Middle Eastern food, such as Falafel, Hummus paste and Tabouleh, for affordable price.

There are plenty of restaurants to visit in the area, but some stand out more than others. When we were walking around looking for this place staff from other restaurants attempted to lure us into their restaurants. We found this small restaurant along the pedestrian walkway and placed our orders. The food was very good and their French Fries made... More

Great falafel, small restaurant with limited tables but totally worth it. I've tried the falafel, hummus, tabolah And chicken shawarma all were great I have been to many falafel restaurants around the world and this is one of the bests.. Also located In the heart of Istanbul

Really great falafel - as good as I have had in Jerusalem. Very good value also. Not the most attractive interior but the food speaks for itself.

Centrally located right off of Taksim Square, down the block from Simit Saraya, very fresh salads and clean establishment. Well-priced meal (20 turkish lira per plate) and very satisfying. Well worth the trip if you are craving falafel and fave beans. Would definitely go back.

My wife and I visited this restaurant at least 10 times during a recent conference we attended. This little restaurant packs a powerful punch. The menu is simple, and as the name suggests centers on falafel. The falafel were served hot, and would virtually melt in your mouth. The ful and hummus provided a nice complement, and most plates are... More

We came to the Falafel house quite late in the evening and enjoyed the opportunity to quickly eat dinner before we went to sleep in our hotel. The falafels are truely excellent and the cost is quite reasonable. The place is more a fast food place with some tables than a restaurant where you want to spend the evening. And... More

We stopped here for lunch in January 2016, and had excellent falafel and hummus. The quality of the food was first-rate, the tables clean, and the staff friendly (and English-speaking).

We were looking for a place to eat falafel and we got the right one. Nice people and great falafel with hummus and salad! You can choose between different menus. Really worthy to go. Don't miss it.

I really didn't expect this from the unassuming exterior (and, let's be frank, interior) but this is actually a really nice place to eat near Taksim Square. At about 20-30 lira for a main course this is a very cheap place to eat and the falafels are very, very tasty, made with fresh ingredients. For those looking for a quick... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
