This is such a hidden gem, and yet it's been there since 1967. Seemingly cooking cezve after cezve (the little pot) of the finest Turkish coffee you could hope to get in Taksim. I've had some decent ones, and plenty of lovelessly prepared cups of...More

Do try this place for the best Turkish coffee! A small unassuming place, with 5-6 tables and stools tucked away in the tiny bylanes. (Like most tea/ coffee places in Turkey). Must visit when in Beyoglu/ Istiklal St. They also have their coffee for sale...More

The coffee here is pretty amazing. Fresh and thick, this place can be found tucked away in a small alley and popular amongst the locals. Great atmosphere.

For authentic Turkish coffee, this place was excellent. They sat us down and we had nothing but the coffee and it was fantastic. If you aren't familiar, the coffee is very thick so be prepared for that. As coffee drinkers, we loved it.

Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal
Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night
and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights,
shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of
people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive
Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of
the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned
restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening
