Nine of us came here for dinner (without a reservation). We ordered a range of dishes to share. Well prepared Turkish food - great flavours. Pleasant atmosphere - table set up worked for a group.

I did like the interior and the atmosphere of this restaurant. The food was also pretty good, but not as goo as in "Varka" where we dined the night before.

Came here on our first night in Istanbul. I had the meatballs in pastry which is like a meatloaf covered in puff pastry. It came with salad and a youghrt dressing. My husband had another dish, I cannot recall which, but it also came with salad and yoghurt. We both found that there was a lot of yoghurt and this... More

Best restaurant ! They offered various different dishes which included vegetarian and vegan ones as well. The food tasted delicious and we didn't have to wait too long for the food to arrive. I really liked the atmosphere and the staff was friendly and spoke English (which is seems to be rather rare in Istanbul) - all in all a... More

A great location, just off the Istikalis this is a great local place, quirkily decorated. The menu offers a great selection which is different from most of the places around, with a good range of vegetarian options and great value for money. A simple but lovely place.

We were here for dinner and had the goulash and the spinach vegetarian dish. It was incredibly tasty, served quickly in a very pleasant atmosphere. Strongly recommended!

Very peaceful, cool, non-pretentious place in an old apartment on a side street in Pera. Far from the crowd yet very central. Great for rest, peace of mind and long friend chat. Black Sea Anatolian food. Veg choices.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
