I enjoyed this place. A great location and very good ambiance. There is musical entertainment. The service was prompt and good choice on the menu. I enjoyed the low tables too.

We stayed in Istanbul for 1 week and in that time visited Mesale cafe 3 times. It has a great atmosphere at both daytime and evenings. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the live music was stunning

Delicious kebabs, etc. Not exactly friendly service when a rather surly fellow nearly throws you a menu after seemingly ignoring you for the first few minutes after arrival. Odd, especially after good experiences thus far.
