This was the best Turkish breakfast We had in Istanbul. We went there 3 times and we were never disappointed! Perfect place to enjoy a week end brunch. The Turkish bread is very good. As an advice, take the general big breakfast and add additional...stuff such as gozleme (Turkish crepe) and Menemen (Turkish dish with eggs and tomato) It is absolutely tasty and amazing! We love it. Plus you will have unlimited tea. We can’t wait to go back when lockdown is over! Amazing staff as well! Go there without any doubt!More

The best breakfast we had so far. Apart from the Turkish breakfast for 2, we also ordered gozleme with cheese and fried doughnuts. Everything was delicious. Very attentive and friendly service. We’ll definitely be back!

Van Kahvaltı Evi appeared as the first Google result when my girlfriend and I searched for a breakfast place around our flat in Istanbul. With neither of us ever experiencing a van breakfast before, the amount of food brought to us was astounding to say...the least. Plate after plate of delicious food was brought to us. Eating a bit of each food at a time, I found that nearly all of it was very tasty; the selection of items for the breakfast had enough to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. As a man of 193 cm (with a fairly hungry girlfriend), I thought it would be no problem at all to finish. I found out shortly that I would not come close to meeting that goal. It’s seldom I ever write reviews; as a restaurant server in America, I’ve come to reserve high expectations I rarely see exceeded. But the best part of our experience at Van Kahvaltı Evi was meeting the owner (who also served us), Ercan Şimşek. He was kind, personable, and engaging with us, and it really made us feel at home in his restaurant. His English was both impressive and accommodating, which was refreshing, as my Turkish is a bit out of practice. Mr. Ercan even invited us to enjoy complimentary Turkish coffee at the end of our meal as a testament to his hospitality. This spot deserves each and every one of the positive reviews it has received, and it deserves the patronage of more tourists and locals who would otherwise visit a chain restaurant for breakfast. Please check out Van Kahvaltı Evi and ask for Mr. Ercan if you are looking for a tasty and memorable breakfast when visiting or staying in Istanbul!More

For a refreshing, wholesome, inviting culinary experience in Istanbul don't miss Van Kahvalti Evi.     Go first and last to the spinach pancake.       At the same time try the excellently designed presentation of many other dishes.       Waiters...who brought our breakfast are sincere, direct, and less on guard than waiters found in many other Istanbul restaurants. Savor them too.More

You could take one menu for 2 if you are reasonable :). It would cost ~30-40TL ( ~10€), waiter may complain a bit. If you take to menu which you can't finish (from my point of view it will cost ~60TL (~20€)
