A very popular restaurant/Café offering very good Turkish and International food in a nice, stylish and relaxed atmosphere. We already came to this place almost 3 years ago and have to say that it could keep its high standard. We will definitely came again next...time. Can be highly recommended when in Nisantasi!More

A place popular with locals Nisantasi people. Highend Resturant/Coffeeshop. We had lunch and worked there over coffee for hours watching the cool locals. Fish was really good and many healthy options. Location is super nice close to the high-end shops. Love the cosy decor and...staff is extremely polite.More

An early dinner in a quiet restaurant - although the terrace was buzzing! I had sea bass stuffed with pilaff and a salad. Both were utterly brilliant. The fish tender, the pilaff with pistachios a perfect match. My guest had slow roasted lamb with rice...and a dish if small vegetarian fritters. His food too was excellent. But there seemed to be unhappiness amongst the staff and, although they behaved well and professionally, there was not a totally .happy atmosphere in the room.More

I was client for 5 years, it was my place always. The food was amazing and is, the balcony was always my spot and before they had a really professional service. The English of the waiters was never great but they were doing their best...and supporting them selfs. Last two times the service became sloppy and today the cocktail I always take was reduced 1:3, after my complaint the solution was a glass swap hilarious :( or not. For me that was it bye Delicatessen all the best and luck with the local customers meanwhile I move to Must a few meters away where so far I never got disappointed. This city is changing the patine that was given by the expat crowd disappear so now the only thing we have is the glossy new money of Istanbulies. Nevertheless I feel sad...More

I love this place for breakfast, lunch, dinner and/or drinks... It is very close to shops and other popular locations if you plan a night-out afterwards. Never too noisy or extreme crowded but not empty as well. Wine and food selection is pretty good.

The ambiance and service was excellent -- hence the three stars. The food was at best average. The oven baked lamb was bland and stringy. The spicy chicken curry was served in a soup bowl !!!

Love Nisantasi, and have been to this restaurant during my previous like 25 visits to Istanbul. As fpr tgis visit, Delicatessen is a majoooooooor disappointment! If guest never experienced it before, maybe it would pass, but having tried it the previous years... the Sep of...2017 is an official date of death of delicatessen for us:)) Service was smth unbelievably bad, as if everyone came from the village yesterday and never worked on the field of F&B, let alone the level of Nisantasi. Team memners were mopping the fkoor and moving chairs in a way as if guests are some if these chairs! So rude, they were hitting our legs under the table. Only one person in the whole restaurant (primetime, Sunday lunch, awesome weather) was speaking English. Even that person after having confirmed the ingridients for seafood pasta very clearly sent us the wrong pasta. After accepting their mistake the team simply added missing octopus to the SAME DISH!!!! What is worse,we are dead sure that octopus was truly bad in terms of freshness. Although we settled the bill in full and told the shift manager its not a joke to serve seafood which is off as its a health hazard, te team didn't give a damn. Conclusion: this was a very nice place years back, but until drastic change please avoid Delicatessen in Nisantasi. You will find many nice rearaurants with fresh and tasty food and hospitable team , just look around.More

We had breakfast a few years ago and enjoyed the food and the service and we were so disappointed this time. Service was very unwilling and food was less than ordinary. Scrambled eggs was thick and dry. The only good thing was the "old kashkaval."...Definitely will not go back.More
