Had some awesome tasting fresh bread, lamb, beef kofta and cold draft beer. The staff were very friendly, the food was served fast and hot and the outdoor seating is a great atmosphere. Enjoy!!!

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5, Ali Baba was very nice and playful with our baby. Atmosphere: 5/5, not a busy intersection, but still some stuff going on. the pida with the sausage was great.

Was looking for a bite to eat after arriving at my hotel. Kosk was right there! Charming and helpful waiters. Lovely kebab dinner, yummy bread and complimentary tea with my dessert. Lovely outdoor cafe in the heart of the old city.

Hi food eaters, As you walk along trying to decide where to sit, eat and recharge it becomes difficult in Sultanahmet because of the choice of food. Being new to the city you don't want to make the wrong choice or look like you are a newbie with no idea. The food at Kosk is good, tasty and honest. The... More

Patio tables in the old town right below the 4 Seasons Hotel. Very good Traditional Turkish dishes. Good service. Nice breeze coming up from the Sea.

Our family had a lovely dinner at Kosk! We all had claypots, which were really authentic (they cut the top in front of you) and deliciously full of flavour. Great service too - friendly and welcoming. Thank you :) Highly recommend!

All the eateries in Sultanahmet are tourist traps but this one is the worst kind: over priced AND the food is bad. I ordered a mixed meze plate and only two of the five salads were edible. They have better humus at Trader Joe's.

We, 2 couples, went to this restaurant for a dinner after a intense walking day. We arrived about 9PM and ordered first beverages and later different meals. The waiter goes indoor and come again telling us that "because is too late we don't have dark beer, so we change dark beer for red wine. After that he came with beverages... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
