Awesome food, inviting setting, excellent service, friendly staff, excellent price. Conveniently located to Topkapi, the Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, and Sultan Ahmed Mosque

Mezza weren't good comparing to other restaurants, the spinach bread was delicious , the food wasn't good enough , it didn't worth the price of it .

Prime real estate, great people watching.... Unfortunately those are the only positives. After walking past a couple of times, by the third time we were intrigued, mostly because of their decor. We were seated at the entrance of the restaurant like objects on display, as a bid to lure more people in. Overall we found the food average, especially for... More

Great super tourist Turkish restaurant. We tried the original Kebbab from Cappadocia cooked for hours in a clay pot. Was very nice. Also must try the creeps. Service is great.

The food is good and tasty. The service is also good, the waiters are fun and smiling. However portions are small and prices are high. You should provide at least 100 TL per person for a basic menu - starter, main dish and one drink.

Certainly I'm not an expert on Turkish food, but I know when something taste so plain that any place can make it better. I didn't feel it authentic, except for the bill. Really expensive, few, boring but nicely decorated.

This was perhaps one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had at a dining establishment. We chose this place because we were passing by and looked in the window and it just looked so cozy and warm. They have large sitting areas with tons of pillows and blankets, you just feel like you are truly a world away.... More

One of the great restaurants in Sultanahmet Square. They have a very traditional sitting area and they serve all sorts of Turkish cuisines. My favorite was the Gozleme and the BBQ. Definitely worth a try!!

We had dinner here last night and it was just wonderful. We shared a mezze and a traditional pancake stuffed with cheese and spinach made by a lovely lady sitting begins us. Our waiter was just great knowing how and when to chat and tell us about the food. The good was just Devine, it was absolutely wonderful

I found this restaurant really interesting. There was a lady sat at a hot plate making your fajitas/pancakes (not sure) which was interesting to watch. The décor gave the place a traditional rustic feel, there's the choice of sitting at a table or on the sofa/cushions. The staff were very friendly, they advised us about the menu and made the... Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
