first, let's get it clear it is NOT a restaurant. it is a rooftop where you can have your breakfast or sit up there anytime with a drink. very enjoyable for that. but is is not a rooftop restaurant. since last year visit, the hookah house corner is completed. tends toward tacky and cuts down on the view of the... The buffet breakfast is great. Keeps you on your toes during all that walking. You can skip lunch if you have to, and have an early dinner nearby on your way back to the hotel. They have plenty of olives and cheeses to choose from.

Just stayed the second time in this little hotel. Staff is very friendly and the rates are reasonable. However the service this year definitively lost quality. The hotel's location is ideal, if you want to see all the famous landmarks in this part of the old city, because everything is in walking distance. If you book more than 3 nights,... More

have stayed her before and it was perfect...this hotel HAD a great view of both sea of marmara an sutanahment (blue) mosque. a recent addition this year of a "hookah house" in the corner of the rooftop nearest the blue mosque has cut way down on the ambience and view - hopefully it will turn into a nice cooler weather... Try having an early breakfast when the sun rise. The reflection of the sun on the Sea of Marmara with the cool sea weather is heaven!

I stayed here last time and I loved it. The terrace has lovely views of teh Bosphoros and to the back views of The Blue Mosque. I enjoyed spending time there at night having a beer and enjoying the views.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
