If you want something local and in a relatively clean cafe, go with Anor. Try their delicious Lagman noodles and a bowl of Shurpa soup.

We tried out Anor on the recommendation of a friend when we were in Tashkent last August and it did not disappoint. Excellent shashliks, good seasoning and very friendly service which was delightful.

Sat outdoors for lunch. Good atmosphere, good chicken shashliks, salads, fresh-squeezed juice and compote, among other things.

After traveling in Xinjiang for a while we LOVED this place's lagman (true Uygur style). The atmosphere and service were excellent as well. Really enjoyed this place!
