Ate there twice today & must say that all 10 things we ate was delightful. My favourite was the pumpkin soup. Those waiters are doing a great job. Best food in all of Dushanbe if you are a vegetarian.

I was invited by friends to have lunch at Al-Sham, but I was warned that one of our companion is a vegan and I did not regret. The vegan food in Al-Sham was delicious, nutritious and with variety. No wonder my vegan friend keeps on coming back. Very nice place, professional employees and welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely come back.

We ate here several times while in Dushanbe. The babba ghanous, hummus and fatuous were excellent. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Would highly recommend.

I was always impressed with Al Sham. I ate here several times. The food was delicious and the service was good too. Don't take anyone with you who would be offended by Persian traditional dancing girls though. They will come around and dance for your table.

Went here in mid September in the evening and it was so dark in and outside we could barely see what we were eating. The food was good, particularly the mezze. Also ordered one of the kebabs. Would come again. Service was really excellent for Central Asia.

Stopped by here on a very hot afternoon after visiting the National Museum of Antiquities. Good service, varied menu. Appetizers delicate and savory.

The mezes are really good; hummus, tabouleh, fattoush, dolma, flat meat bread, feta-sort-of-cheese-plate, babaganoush etc. The falafel are a disappointment; dense, heavy, greasy. Meats are also good, but if you are in group and order lots of mezes, don't make the mistake of ordering a full second plate per person - it is too much.

Nice interior and pleasant service but food used to be better. It might be a change in chef as it used to be a nice dining place but the last visit was disappointing for me and my sister because of food. There are no many places in Dushanbe to try the Arab cuisine so if you really craving it make... More
