One of the most iconic eateries of Islamabad, HotSpot is a true gem. Their ice cream is the best in the twin cities hands down. This is artisan ice cream at its best.

The location at the saidpur village provided a memorable experience when it started drizzling, the air was filled with the smell of blossoming flowers of early spring season, the tent had just enough light and the chocolate lava cake, icecream and karak chai and the view of city beneath us made us feel as if we were in heaven....

This is a cool place and the desserts are just amazing. You will enjoy the desserts while looking onto posters of old films, a great collection.

In my opinion, the best desserts in Islamabad are here. After trying many weird ones, I wasn't sure about Hotspot but I'm glad I tried it. It's set out really well, with quirky photos and slogans all over the wall, and excellent options. They have a range of ice cream flavours, cheesecakes, apple crumble, sundaes and the popular brownie and... More

Snack spot, which is supposed to be a big hangout spot for teenagers mostly, and isn't that big of a deal in my opinion. Plus there has been no change in it since 2010!!!!

Hotspot was among the first ice-cream places to open up in the city, which was primarily targeting youngsters, and its doing a great job since. You still see teenagers, and people in the early 20s hanging out at hotspot, and those a bit older in their 30s coming and reminiscing about the times they've been to hotspot. While there are... Cutesy place. Train carriage converted into a cafe. Diner style booths plus courtyard seating outside. Lots of indulgent desserts & smoothies. Perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Tried lunch once from the Saidpur village Hotspot one & it was awful. The food was cold, like it was taken out of fridge/freezer & not warmed through. The quiche seemed off.
