I went twice to this restaurant for dinner while in Ulaan Bataar. They serve Indian food. I find the service given was friendly and quick. Most importantly food was great and affordable. The restaurant is nicely decorated and provides a very nice atmosphere. I was informed that the meat is Halal and this is something not easy to find in... More

Excellent food, reasonable prices and a cozy decor. This place was a little bit of a drive to get to but definitely worth it!

Second time been to the hazara restaurant, it was not a good service at all and price too. we ordered beef biryani, lamb goish and garlic naan. It took them about 15 minutes to bring it. We were very hungry so started eating the briyani and it was too salty too eat, complained to the server it took 15 min... More

Dear Guest, Sorry that your experience at Hazara was not up to your expectation! I would only like to make two points in this regard. Firstly, we are fine dining restaurant thus our food is cooked only once the order has been placed by the guest, therefore, it takes time. Fifteen minutes to cook Indian food is very normal (... Hazara, in Ulaanbaatar, is hands down my favorite Indian restaurant in the world. I have made it a point to have dinner there at least once every time I'm in UB since 2003. It's always incredibly good, and not as expensive as I've come to expect in the US. All that plus a cold half liter Chiggis... What more is... More

If you like indian food and you are in UB, eat here. If you don't like indian food and you are in UB, eat here! This is a very nice place with great food and great hospitality. Located just behind the wrestling stadium near Peace Avenue. 10/10

After more than a month in rural Mongolia eating sheep intestines and camel milk, Hazara restaurant certainly hits the spot. The servings are enormous, and taste delicious. The menu has a range of excellent choices - the Lemon Coriander Soup entree in particular is excellent. Definitely worth a visit.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch. There was not a huge number of available places to park in front of the restaurant for lunch, but scarcity of parking is pretty normal for UB so you can't really hold that against them. And it's not too far from Sukhbaatar Square (1 km or so?), so it's an easy walk... More

Excellent food, service and value; could have stayed all night. We went mid week in winter so not many people. You may have to book at other times.

Great prices for really good Indian food which I do not usually crave. Huge baskets of Naan! Good selection, marginally attentive staff, though they were clearly busier than usual on a weeknight. Eight American men drank and got stuffed on curry for about $120.

We called Hazara at 9:30pm to ask about the opening hours since we all craved Indian food. They extended their opening hours especially for us and we received excellent service and amazing food! One of us has a gluten intolerance which they also took into consideration by slightly changing the recipe of her dish. Another one of us asked for... More

Description
Hazara": our name is derived from the people of Hazara tribe, settled in Northern Mountains of Afganistan. Hazara's are related to Mongolia as they came as part of Chinggis Khan's army in 13th century. They are proud, Independent and good natured people. Our Food; North Indian Frontier Cuisine is based on healthy traditional method of cooking. There is gentle use of spices and more emphasis on flavours and herbs. Tandoor (Clay oven) is used to grill the meat to give its chary taste. There is abundant use of dry fruits and cream to give very creamy and smooth taste. Our Architect: We have created the ambience of Havelis of Rajasthan. Antique doors and zarokas and colourful tents create warmth and romantic ambience.
