I went twice with colleagues. This is an excellent Indian restaurant, the food was very good and the portions very generous, one main course with naan is really enough. It is also good very good value. The food is not very spicy, I guess in line with Mongolian tastes, but they will spice it up on request. Overall a very... More

Me and my partner enjoyed the service and the food greatly, highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. They didn't have vindaloo on the menu it was not an issue willing to whip up any dish to satisfy guests! 😀👍🏼

My gauge for an Indian restaurant is the pakora and the rogan josh ..... I know, not too big a challenge, possibly bordering on the kitsch. The pakora at Hazara was excellent. I enjoyed every mouthful. The rogan josh not so much! Maybe it was lamb, maybe not. If It was I suspect it may have reproduced several times before... More

Hazara has been around in UB for 20 years, a testimony to its enduring popularity and quality. With chefs imported from India, the food is authentic and tasty. The decor is nice and not overwhelming. Staff and service were good. Definitely a place for a good meal.

Hazara in Ub, is certainly worth a visit, the menu is good, the service very attentive but it is certainly more expensive than Namaste. The cost was high considering we had no beer or alcohol. The menu is very good and there are even sorbets and deserts. The Rojan Josh and Butter Chicken were both well prepared, with the chicken... More

Hazara has been in Mongolia for decades and there is a reason. The tables, dishes, curtains surrounding tables are all authentic and lend atmosphere. The food and servings are superb. It is a really classic place to eat, in Sansar near the Wrestling Palace.

One of the best Indian restaurants we ever visited. A great surprise in the middle of Ulan Bator. The staff was super nice and helpful and even the wine was a treat. We had veg biryani, chicken tikka masala and some nan and raita all were delicious and recommended. Do not miss

Hazara": our name is derived from the people of Hazara tribe, settled in Northern Mountains of Afganistan. Hazara's are related to Mongolia as they came as part of Chinggis Khan's army in 13th century. They are proud, Independent and good natured people. Our Food; North Indian Frontier Cuisine is based on healthy traditional method of cooking. There is gentle use of spices and more emphasis on flavours and herbs. Tandoor (Clay oven) is used to grill the meat to give its chary taste. There is abundant use of dry fruits and cream to give very creamy and smooth taste. Our Architect: We have created the ambience of Havelis of Rajasthan. Antique doors and zarokas and colourful tents create warmth and romantic ambience.
