Nice view, delicious food, good service. Highly recommended! If you need a place to lunch or have dinner, this restaurant in middle of the city is perfectly appropriate.

After a tour of roughing it for a few days this reminded us how fortunate we are in the west. Beautiful food and service. Highly recommended for a night off from the local delicacies

Went for lunch, and got a nice table on the terrace, overlooking the museum. Beautiful weather. I was quite hungry having missed the breakfast. My colleagues warned me about greasy pizza but I went ahead and ordered a "make your own". It was a good choice - though I did have to remove some of the cheese (it was tooo... More

I lived in Mongolia for abut 8 years. There were several things that you could always rely on as a resident of Ulaanbaatar: no running hot water for 3 weeks each summer, cold and smokey winters, windy and dusty springs, and always a good meal at Veranda. It's so reliable and delicious and friendly. The entire staff - all of... More

Although the logo says Mediterranean the atmosphere and food here is very Italian inspired in the best sense of the word. Large wine selection at quite decent prices. Service impeccable.

Had a nice dinner with friends following a meeting at the Puma International Hotel. Good Italian fare made better by the comfy couch seating and view of Buddhist temple. We ordered a number of different tasty pizzas and pasta dishes. Service efficient and friendly.

the food is awesome, especially if you are steak oriented like I am. there is a variety of steak dishes, all of which are great, with sublime taste and well matched subtleties. I've been here many times, for business lunches, family dinners, meetings and catch-ups and work outings too. the surroundings are nice, but not fancy like some others, but... More

Had an extremely pleasant dinner at The Veranda on Sept 6. We were taken there by a friend who knows and relishes his food. The recommendation of a Malbec was excellent at a reasonable price. I was specially impressed with my aglio e olio. A simple dish made to perfection. I bet it must be a challenge to present Italian... More

Find a table on the patio on an early evening and enjoy! The restaurant is in a small alley off the Choijin Lama Temple, with nice views of the Buddhist Temple Complex. It's the place if you are craving for some Italian fare. Salads and pizzas, pastas and steak, cakes and other desserts. It's good food....and the excellent service makes... More

Bypass the pub downstairs, go up to the Veranda and sit out on the patio overlooking the Buddhist temple complex across the road. The Italian cuisine is excellent and the historic atmosphere is wonderful.
