Met the owner, Daniel who is Cuban, married to a Mongolian and has been In UB for 20 years. Good and reasonably priced food and a good ambience, with international folks eating there.

By far one of of my favorite places to visit and eat while in UB. The owner is an awesome guy who is very friendly and welcoming to all visitors. A favorite place among expats, peace corps volunteers, travels, Mongolians...essentially everyone. The entire staff are great and make you feel very comfortable. Their philly cheese steak sandwich and fries is... More

I enjoy going to Millie's. It is light and airy. Atmosphere is made all the more pleasant by the profusion of the indoor plants. There is a good choice of food on the menu. It's also good place to go and meet friends for coffee at any time of day.

Mille's isn't fancy but it's a great place for a quick enjoyable meal. Their carrot soup is to die for and the menu offers lots of choice for everyone. Go to enjoy the company, prompt and courteous service and good food.

Excellent service, great place for things like eggs and grilled chicken. The fries are good and the lemon tart is great! The owner is friendly and helpful.

Tucked up down a small side street, this was a very pleasant stop for lunch. There is an English menu and the waitstaff spoke English (which isn’t always the case in UB). The food was absolutely delicious – one of the better club sandwiches I’ve had! There were plenty of options on the menu and everything seemed reasonably priced for... More

Cheerful and sunny place, with friendly staff. Pretty decent burger and fries (hey, I was missing home food after a month) although it came with the usual local addition of sliced cucumbers on the side. Not a bad thing! Just typical of Mongolian meals. The coffee was good, prices just fine, and the shakes/malts looked good. Right across from Chojin Lama... More
