This restaurant is housed in the Puma Imperial Hotel. In fact, I chose to stay in Puma Imperial Hotel because of the presence of this restaurant. Food was good. But, unfortunately, as it is everywhere else outside of India, Indian restaurants tend to be very...expensive and this restaurant is no exception. A 150 gm worth of so-called Kashmiri rice costs $4 here, and vegetable biriyani, approximately 250 gm, costs $8. For take home, they separately charge T1000 (approximately $0.40) for a plastic container. That is a shame. For take home they save table space and staff time. Nowhere else restaurants charge for take home containers. Eating a full course meal for one person costs approximately $20 in this restaurant. Given the status of Mongolia as a poor country, this kind of cost for eating out in an Indian restaurant is surprisingly very high. No wonder, I never saw the restaurant full, just saw about one-tenth or less of its seating capacity.More

We used to visit quite often, but suddenly in July 2019, their food changed dramatically bad. The butter chicken was our favourite since day 1 we ever visited here but it became too sweet and creamy at all. Yesterday I tried to give another chance...and had lunch with my friend thought that may be their chief was on vacation leave; but food was still awful.More

We visited with a group of 8 people. All meals were tasty and service was fast. The curries were excellent. If we had more time in UB this place was worth revisiting. The waiter was attentive and unlike lots of places in UB everything that...was on the menu seemed to be available.More

Conveniently located, great Indian food in central UlaanBaatar, near Ikh Delgur. Good option for vegetarians.

Surprised with the speed of service, our order came really fast, ordered few curries rice and nan, nan was bit cold and chewy, impressed with calm and pleasant service as well, reasonably priced.

Hadn’t expected to eat Indian food on my first day in Mongolia, but taken to this restaurant for dinner as it was close to my hotel. Ordered the chicken biryani. Large serving but it was so good I ate the entire thing. Good service. Mango...lassi a bit sour. Would recommend coming here for a change from eating Mongolian cuisine.More

I had a team of four and we ate here often. The food appealed to each person--a Mongolian, a Pole and two Americans. One of the few restaurants we all agreed upon.

I loved the food and although not luxurious it was comfortable. For the quality of the food it was better value than some other Indian restaurants. The service was good with not too long a wait for the food. It is tucked upstairs, but not...too hard to find. Located near the shopping area. I enjoyed eating there and will go back if I can.More
