The beer was at a good price for the atmosphere provided (sitting in the garden a little bit off all the noises). The food was ok, certainly not the place you go to for a nice meal.

It was a most pleasant place to have lunch--simple Asian food or some western food. The cold beer was local and very welcome on a hot day!

Vilai and her husband are friendly and gracious hosts. They are actually from Thailand but have lived in Laos 40+ years. If you need a place with a cosy, relaxing atmosphere, and good food, this is it.
