This restaurant is located within city centre, however it is located in a small lane but there is still many people who know about this restaurant. I believed the owner is a French, but the internal decor of the restaurant is Asian fushion, though the place is not air-condition, but it is not hot neither. I have gone for dinner... More

We stopped here for lunch and were surprised to find that they specialized in galettes--savory, French buckwheat pancakes. They were delicious.

Love the crepes. Very authentic buckwheat crepes. Prices about 55000 for a full on savoury crepe. Great selection of beers. End of a little road. ..non air-condition but plenty of fans

We wanted crepes, and this restaurant has them--hearty Buckwheat crepes for main dishes and traditional dessert crepes. Other food too, including delicious pumpkin soup. We visited in April, the "low season", very few customers. Excellent food, very reasonable prices. No AC--just circling fans, so by the end of our meal we were pretty sweaty!

Service quick, efficient and genuinely friendly and welcoming. Owner / operator present and took notice of his guests adding to the pleasant atmosphere evident within seconds of entering the restaurant. We had traditional Laap food consisting of sticky rice with fried beef and lemongrass combined with a host of other vegetables, herbs and spies. Low lighting and soft music added... More

Very tasty dinner and a truly excellent pear crepe for dessert. I found this to be a much better French restaurant experience than other more pedigreed restaurants in Vientiane.

We had the laap, which unfortunately was not served very hot (heat or spice), despite asking for hot (Laos style). There was only one portion of sticky rice left - this was served very hot. The dishes were tasty, just a shame about the heat. The beer was refreshing and the bottles were served in cooler jackets.

First; it was a delight to have a genuine buck wheat crepe in Vientiane - as good as any that I have had in Brittany. Second; I failed to be convinced that a piece of tough porc can in any way be described as "filet mignon' despite the persistance and prostetaions of the owner. Filet mignon is beef.- not even... Ate here after walking by a few times. Always had a fair few people in, daily menu available for around 55000 kip including main and a dessert or coffee. I had chicken in mushroom sauce with veg, mash and salad followed by banana split. All of the food was delicious, well presented and a good portion. Drinks are reasonable and... More

I ate here twice within a few days. The first time I had the daily special and it was quite good. I Chicken in Mushroom Sauce with vegetables and a Salad. The other option was some type of savoury crepe. I also had the creme caramel but alternatively I could have choosen an Expresso. When I visited a few days... More
