The place is quite easy to find and was close to our hotel. It is rated as the best in Vientaine. We got there and were greeted quite well being offered the possibility of sitting outside or inside. Unfortunately, like many places, the salesmen/saleswomen did not know how to speak in English. Luckily one of them had an idea. We... More

Nice cafe with good coffee and a good selection of pastries. Location and service are also ok. Prices are normal for a french cafe.

Stopped in for a mid-morning snack. The Croissant au Jambon was very good, the hot jasmine tea was good, but they really missed the mark on the Iced Lemon Tea. It tasted as if made from a powder mix instead of freshly brewed tea with fresh lemon added. I would not order the Iced Lemon Tea again. Also, had a... More

Great pastries and service. Pricey, but worth paying as staff are great and food delicious. Highly recommend.

They have breads, cakes, and a lot of croissant varieties. Tried the mocha croissant, was not convinced. Dragon fruit shake was good.

Came here 3 years ago and it is still as good. Fabulous pastries and croissants. Try the lemon citrus tart and iced coffee. A daily treat for us.

Ate breakfast here twice - once getting just an amazing and enormous almond-powdered-sugar croissant, the second time going for a full breakfast set. Generous portions, good coffee, some of the best jam I've ever had on a baguette.

Le Banneton had the BEST ham and cheese croissant! These things are to die for. I would highly recommend them. This is my go to place for breakfast! Thanks for great croissants!!

Nice staff. Very good and inexpensive food. Had the muesli and yoghurt (almost asked for 2nds!) and jam on bread. Highly recommended.

After hearing about this place in Lonely Planet guide we stopped here for breakfast. The place looks really classy and just like how I imagine French cafes to be. The menus are in French and English so I imagine it caters for Westerners rather than Lao locals. The service is quick and friendly and the staff seem to speak good... More
