We were on a guided tour and had just arrived on Vientiane. Our guide suggested that we have a group lunch here. It is his favourite spot for local fresh cuisine. It is in a really good location. Close to the waterfront. The downstairs was...very full so they sat our large group of 18 upstairs. Downstairs was very light and colourful. Upstairs wasn't so much. There was a little bit of language barrier but google translator got me by when making sure there were no mushrooms and that I have an allergy. The drinks came quickly the food took along time and we all ate at different times. I cant remember what I ordered to drink but I came out green and I was a bit worried what I have ordered myself. Whatever it was it was amazing, refreshing and I couldn't wait for another. I ordered their special the Rice noodle soup with chicken. It was really good but could have used a little more salt (but I do tend to like salt to much). My spouse ordered their spring rolls and was very happy with it and really loved the dipping sauce. Prices were very cheap and ranges from 24,000KIP ($3.60CAD) to 52,000KIP ($7.80CAD) a dish. If we were there for more than 2 days. I would have ate here again happily!More

Great food, reasonable price, nice ambiance. Nice restaurant for lunch. On the recommendation of our guide, we ate here, and we are very happy we did. Authentic Laotian food.

Came here for dinner one night - ordered basil chicken with rice. Portions were considered generous and the gravy it came in was super yummy! Ordered a fruit shake which was good too. Mostly tourists and foreigners come here. Service was rather bleah, nothing great...to shout about. Would come here if convenient.More

Have been there three times in two days. Very good, tasty and cheap dishes, especially the vegetarian ones. Nice to order several dishes and try them with your family/friends. Don't forget to taste the desserts as well, they are definitely worth to be tried as...well.More

Pretty restaurant, came highly recommended in the Internet. Service was good and friendly, but, sadly, the food was not to my liking, as I found that it had too much overpowering local herbs and spices.

Food was local, tasty and good. Not the quickest and customer friendly service. Nice atmosphere with seating going outside for evening and under cover from the sun in the day.

I went as it’s well rated on internet. It’s 25% more expensive than in any Lao shop (Mango/sticky rice is just 2.5 times the price!) And really is not worth the price, as there is no ambiance or decoration, and worse, that food is tasteless.
