Great Chilean food at very reasonable prices. They also have happy hour cocktail specials that are ridiculously cheap and tasty. All dishes were outstanding. The staff and the owner were all very friendly, efficient, and attentive. We liked this place so much that we planned...to dine there again but they were closed the second night we attempted to eat there. Highly recommended. One of the best meals we had in Vientiane.More

Taco Tuesday! Best shrimp tacos I’ve ever eaten, everything at Bacan is excellent...but the shrimp tacos are a cut above, large succulent, perfectly spiced grilled shrimp on fresh made tortillas with avocado, corn, peppers, sour cream, homemade sauces and more. This is authentic eats, not...the usual Tex-Mex stuff you normally get out of Latin America. César and his staff do it right! You won’t be disappointed.More

Phenomenal! We’ve travelled South America and Mexico, and never been so grateful to find such authentic tasting food outside the country. We’ve loved every dish we’ve eaten, the Sopapillas are a favorite and the carne mechada is a dream. Wonderful owners who make you feel...so welcome every moment of your visit and obviously are passionate about serving a great product. I don’t feel like leaving this review will give the right understanding of how good the food is. A must visit for fresh food lovers. Muchisimas gracias, un buen trabajo a todos d equipo.More

I called and used Bacan’s delivery for my taco dinner, Mechada pork and fish were tonight’s choices...delivered on time and still hot with their homemade salsas, delish. Got some empanadas for tomorrow too, cheese and pork. I love the avocado on the tacos...best Latin food...in town, no doubt. Thanks, César!More

Our family of four had an early dinner here tonight. We showed up 30 min before closing but the staff was gracious, didn't rush us, and served us amazingly good food in great time. It was Empanada Wednesday and the kids both had those and...loved them. I had pork tacos, which were fabulous. I can't remember what my husband had but he ate every bite. We shared chocolate tres leche cake for dessert. And all of it was reasonably priced so we didn't feel like we were breaking the bank to have this amazing dinner. Thank you! And keep up the good work!More

We called in for breakfast two days on the trot. Although it is in an unpromising area the cafe itself is nicely decorated and air conditioned. The upstairs looked worth a try for dinner or lunch too. Run by a friendly Chilean chap we had...quesadillas, and fish tacos. Both were fresh tasting and well seasoned . Coffee was good and cakes home made. At 20 000 kits ($2) per main it made a welcome change from our recent diet of mainly Asian food.More

We started with lattes. Then we moved to lattes and cake. Then we had lunch. It was taco Tuesday so we ordered tacos. Chicken, fish, and shrimp. They were a medley of fresh ingredients, made with love, and absolutely delicious!! I wish I could have...eaten more. I wish we had discovered Bacan before our second last day in Vientiane! Thank you so much. Well done. Excellent food, friendly service, and they speak English. “No onions”!!More

Loved everything, staff, food, price. It is a modest little place but the food is soooooo good. I had the pulled pork quesadilla with guacamole which I highly recommend.
