Very friendly and professional service and the food was ok. Not that cheap, but a good experience after all.

overall our experience with this restaurant was very bad. As european we know how italien food should be. As starter we had carpaccio and tomato mozzarella salad. The beef was too thick and hard served without parmesam, the tomatos were hard an green. The main...More
Great Italian food that is always consistent. Great for families or anyone looking for a great pasta meal. Service is good and the prices are fair.
I think it's the best in town. You should try whatever home made pasta is there. Good wine selection, too. The owner is always there to oversee the situation. Yeah, once in a while, the pasta can get overcooked. And prices are on the high...More
The quality of the food here depends on what you order. Some of the pasta is a bit overcooked and not so tasty whereas other dishes are delicious. The prices are a bit higher here and I think the other Italian restaurants are better in...More
We got into town late on our first night in Vientiane and we wanted somehting close to our hotel. We chose La Gondola to get a break from all the Laocian and Vietnamese overload. We were more than pleasantly surprised by not only the food...More

Definitely one of the best Italian food we've tasted. The prosciutto tagliatalle, wiener schnitzel and La Gondola salad were very refined and service was excellent! :)
The food is not as good as Aria but the prices are a lot less. It is not as a grand a venue, but still perfectly good. The buccatini al tonno was very well cooked.
