This place has many advantages: In summer you can sit outside which is rare for Astana. Meat and fish are excellent - and the staff is attentive. Prices are average for Astana, meaning a decent meal costs between 15 and 25 Euro. Wines are rather expensive, but their home-made lemonades are excellent.

If you're at the mall waiting for your movie and do not like fast food court, can be a place. Decent rolls and beer, pizza. Good selection of various fresh juices and fancy teas. Service will depend on the waiter you get.

I eat at this place when I visit Keruen for a movie, the main drawback of this place is the inconsistent level of the service and cuisine. Definitely not the best place for quality/price value, but it's outweighed by location. Nice to sit on the terrasse during the summer.

If you look for a quiet place for lunch, this is a good option. In summer there is a litlle terasse outside. I like to eat sushi here. Make sure you have a longer break because to be served takes quite long and dishes for more people do not come at the same moment.

A wonderful restaurant with a great ambience. The food is reliable albeit on the expensive side. That being said, it is a great place to meet up with friends and chat the afternoon (or evening) away.

When I was told I had to makr a return trip to Astana in December I was pleased because I would get to come back to Sadu. It did not disappoint. Staff are friendly without overstepping the mark. They did not freak when I was a solo diner or when I took off my hat to reveal post chemo hair... More

Sadu is an upscale restaurant located on the first floor near the main entrance of the Keruen shopping mall in Astana, Kazakhstan. I don't know what connection it has with the Sadu shop on the second floor or the Sadu coffee shop just off the food court on the third floor. Keruen is located near where I work in Astana;... More

Everything taste good in this restaurant and you can witness the Astana scene! Gazpacho and mushroom soups are superb. A margarita,-not shy about tequila- will set you back around €8, lasagna €10, or a more sophisticated risotto with porchini mushrooms €20. Smoking is allowed outside, which can be good or bad depending. It gets smoky. Big warning about summer night:... More

I discovered Sadu when visiting the Keruen shopping centre and decided to try it out on a Saturday evening in late April after a hard day walking round the sights in this fast-developing city. Located at the front of the shopping centre, large picture windows overlook the plaza of the Emerald Quarter. When it is warmer, it must be a... More
