Over the past decade, restaurants have come and gone in Phnom Penh. In the past four years, more "Fresh" options have arrived in PP and one of those options is Enso. It's been going strong since it has opened and is a regular spot for...barang looking for healthy food or to take business meetings. I used to come to enso for business but recently I've started coming just to get some healthy food in between the carbs and sugary drinks that I normally nom on. On this most recent trip, I would say I was unable to enjoy my meal because I was asked to move twice. It's a crowded place but moving mid-meal is always jarring, and to do it twice is definitely a turn off. If the food was really stellar, it would have been worth it, but my risotto was bland so I also felt like I had overpaid for a mediocre meal. I've had better, such as the mackerel, but this was a huge miss. I actually don't know if I'll be back and may make Backyard Cafe my new spot for healthy eats.More

Our friends stay in the building above this place (many expat residents) and they are so lucky to have a great place so close by! The wife and I loved their breakfasts, she loves anything with avocado and I enjoyed the fried eggs, toast, and...bacon. Once I ordered a hash brown and it was a monster! It wasn't really seasoned and probably fried a little to long but otherwise it was fine. It is a little pricy, but that is because of the normal clientele of course. I also wish they had breakfast sandwiches. (Fried eggs, bacon, cheese, and a hash brown?) The service is really good and the ambiance is also quite nice. They do a good job here.More

I have been eating at Enso once or twice a week since August and realised I've never written a review even though I go there more than anywhere else in PP. It's clean , airy and friendly with very good food and Mussel Bay sauvignon...blanc......worth every penny. Highlights for me are their mushroom risotto, avocado on toast (not exactly on the menu but they made it nevertheless) scallop and bacon salad, french fries and the piece de resistance......home made caramel ice cream. It's lush and delicious with a scoop of lime as well..yum!More

This cafe is in one of PP's nicest shopping streets so it's a good place to relax afterwards. Very friendly staff, welcoming to children and superb brunch and main meal dishes. If you want to try it on a Sat or Sun morning it's probably...worth reserving a table. I would recommend the sweetcorn frittatas.More

You want excellent dinner or breakfast or just a cup of Espresso, this is the place for you. I had Gnocchi which was home made and very good. Another must is the Pan Seared Sea Bass. Very reasonably priced. Internet available. I will return on...my next visit to this great city.More
